its sad that despite a clear victory his ego is so fragile that he can't accept defeat, he'd rather make baseless allegations that damage the fundamental foundation of our democracy

and even sadder that some folks can't see the reality - his failure as a leader to unite the country led to his losing the election, so instead of moving forward together to try to deal with some pretty important issues - foreign enemies, covid, the economy, the deficit, veterans, race, the environment - we'll get a constant steady stream of hatred and division trying to keep us apart

The Electoral College will meet on the first Monday following the second Wednesday in December. If either candidate receives the needed 270 electoral votes, that person will be declared the winner, but not before. If neither candidate receives the needed 270 votes, for whatever reason, including court findings, the current House of Representatives will conduct an up and down vote -- a simple majority is all that's needed to declare a winner. Each state is afforded one vote, regardless of the number of representatives. If Trump were to receive 51 votes, he would win the election, the same holds true for Biden. Simply put, we will not know who the duly elected President is until mid December at the earliest. Trump would be a total and complete idiot to concede the election to Biden before all the scenarios play out -- and as most of us know, a fool he is not.
