Severing ties with China hurts us...not them. They have plenty of allies that support their economy. We don't have the infrastructure or the employees that are willing to work at (or below) minimum wage, in order to create the products that are currently imported. Even if we create those jobs, Americans will never want to pay the inflated prices for those products.

I have friends/colleagues here from Sweden, Ethiopia, UK, Russia, Serbia, Germany, Argentina and many other nations. Not one of them slightly respect Trump...and they reiterate that he is known worldwide...not in a positive light.

He may pull a "Putin" and never leave office. It looks like his antics are currently trending in that direction. Even his son is embarrassing himself publicly this week.

We've made a net gain of 31 billion. Name China's allies. We trade with Mexico, Canada, much of Europe, Great Britain, India, Africa, and other nations, including China, which has a vested interest in making sure we continue buying their merchandise. If the American public truly understood the global threat China represented, and if these same American consumers fully grasped the ill-effects socialism will visit upon them, they would, in fact, pay more, which may in turn mean buying less, but better quality stuff.

The leaders of Mexico signed the replacement for NAFTA that had weighed heavily in their favor. They may not have written a check for the cost of the wall, but in the end, their willingness to renegotiate the former trade agreement will more than cover the cost of the wall, many times over. The citizens of Mexico have far too many corruption issues to live with, so I doubt they're spending much of their time "chuckling" about anything, unless of course they're the wealthy elite, or progressive educators.

Three Muslim nations have gone against the grain and signed peace agreements in an effort to normalize relations with Israel, to trade with them. That fact doesn't mean much of the Palestinian world no longer pines for the day Israel is wiped off the planet, but if more Middle-Eastern nations follow suit, it will be much harder for Iran to carry out those plans. BTW, I didn't hear anything about Gaza, but thank you for your concern and timely warning about fake news.

So your friends and colleagues from the various nations are qualified to speak on behalf of the worldwide population? What percentage of their respective countries' population would you say your friends and colleagues represent? 1/1000 of 1%? Even if you and Werner teamed up, this information is hardly convincing, though it may be considered gospel in your home and Werner's. My friends, family, colleagues, are all grateful for President Trump's accomplishments and the campaign promises he kept. That said, it's hardly proof of anything, it's merely another perspective, albeit one that's highly agreed upon by millions of conservatives.

You come across as an intelligent person, misguided maybe, but intelligent. So why would you include a sophomoric statement such as this one? We are not Russia. Trump is not Putin, regardless of what the MSM would have their loyal subjects believe. At some point, a winner will be determined, either through the electoral college, or, if need be, a vote in the House of Representatives. If Biden wins, Trump will not, even remotely, attempt to stay in the White House. He will abide by the final decision. To believe otherwise, is just plain dumb. But if Trump wins, the progressives are going to go ape shit, and will claim that the process isn't valid. I refer you to Maxine Waters immediately after the last election, and the horde of Hollywood celebrities that will never accept conservative victories.

Trump may be the first President in modern time to not get filthy rich from his position in office.
He will be the first to be worth less coming out than he was going in.
Biden was not wealthy when he went in but is now and he is just like most other political figures. Like Trump, Biden Says whatever to get his way, but Harris is the biggest reason not to vote for Biden. He couldn't find a homeless person to do a better job? She is just FAKE! Lots of them!
Our country IS NOT headed in the right direction though either way. The lesser of two evils has been the choice for decades. Outside of Roos Perot, I have not donated to a single campaign. What's to get excited about? They must be digging up some old outhouse and found these gems running our government. I cannot call all of them corrupt, but most are! Getting rich off of the American people.
When will politicians and judges be held accountable? I will tell you when. Either the people will rise up and use their Second Amendment rights to correct it, or when they stand before the Lord.
So you all understand, My strong stand against the left has been because of the constant attack on a man with real integrity. That being General Flynn. Destroying his life because he went against Obama's plans. This is how we treat our American heroes? Under Obama/Biden our VA funding was cut while we gave money to Iran and other nations including some of the groups we were currently fighting with. This is how we treat our heros? Yes I am a veteran and it is sickening how our military are treated while congressmen get rich and collect full pay the rest of their lives. I did not like Obama, but he was our President. Trump did not get that from the left.
Again, not a Trump fan, but a veteran who believes the Constitution is all that stands between us and being third world.

What boggles the mind, is that any free citizen of this country would be willing to trade what we have for globalism, for a global ruling elite, with a global army at their disposal. Power corrupts, perfect power corrupts perfectly, without regard for individual rights and freedoms. The progressive party is leading us all to the cliff's edge, to our demise. By the time these folks realize the monumental error of abandoning our constitution, and former way of life, it will be too late to do anything about it, we will all be at the mercy of the ruling elite, who will dictate every facet of our lives. Voting will be a thing of the past, a lost, but fond memory. We will have become possessions of the worldwide State, of worldwide socialism. Trump can slow this movement down, possibly set it back for decades -- Biden will give it two thumbs up, and the all-clear signal. Biden, his mental acuity severely diminished, is but a pawn, a Trojan horse. He truly is an enemy of the state whether he knows it or not. A vote for Trump was a vote for the free America won by the forces that defeated the tyranny of British rule in the eighteenth century, for the Republic, all that it has stood for, and done in the name of good. Globalism is progress? Hardly!

Trump never said that he would leave office if Biden wins.  I wasn't comparing his personality to Putin's...however the situation is similar to the recent 16 year "term extension" that was implemented in Russia.  He didn't want to leave office, so he changed the laws (and there isn't a rule that Trump must step down if/when he loses the election).

Regardless of the outcome, half of the Americans will be outraged with the voting process, which is ridiculous in every aspect.  Why the hell are there different regulations on a statewide basis??

I appreciate vets that sign up with good intentions of helping their country.  Unfortunately, the military is now voluntary.  Since the draft is obsolete, kids aren't forced to serve.  Hell, there's nothing to defend if our country has never been attacked (no war has taken place on US soil).  Therefore, there are other ways that our tax dollars could be spent, rather than giving handouts to young men that are capable of establishing careers in the US.  Disabled vets and older (WWII/Korea/Nam) vets are obviously the exception...and need serious help.

Sorry for the pessimism.  I've been disappointed with the candidates over the past couple of elections and hope that we can find somebody in the future that is beloved by all Americans...and can bring us together as one.

You believe that we should divert the funds directed for the military, and spend that money on humanitarian aid, while China and Russia gear up militarily? And when these world powers do come-a-knockin, and eventually they will, then what? You can't stand up to the bullies with a pea shooter when they're armed to the teeth. Your thoughts on this matter are short-sighted and dangerous, but alas, that's progressive thinking in a nutshell. Reagan had it right -- peace through strength.

I don't back Biden OR Trump.  I like the fact that Trump has withdrawn troops throughout his term.

I also specified that we should take care of vets from the "older" wars...because they were worth fighting for (and a large portion of those veterans were forced to serve). 

Having a military is necessary; I essentially agree with everything you stated above.  Overloading the US with unnecessary nuclear weapons...and excessive recruitment offices is a waste of tax dollars.  I'd rather pay teachers than compile artillery, so our country can educate itself.

I personally would like to see trump  for another  4 years but it appears biden will be voted in.
I think biden is going to kill this country with taxing us an with covid he will shut down America, which will kill the economy  as many businesses  in tucson have  closed an other states as well have, no trump not perfect  but we surviving  with him as president, I trust trump  an due not trust biden.
