T. Lloyd has hired 3 assistant coaches in the last weeks and months,  Jason Gardner, Ric Fois and Steven Robinson.
Are they recruiting busts?

All 3 have different roles and bring a lot of positives to the team...
However, the 2022 recruiting targets remain the same as before they were hired...
A common strategy in NCAA recruiting is to hire a coach with connections and relationships who is able to inject a spark into the program by inciting high level talent to consider the program.
The one caveat being that Jaden Bradley removed UNC from his list shortly after Steven Robinson was added to the AZ staff but that fact alone is no guarantee he's an Arizona lock now.
One might expect or at least hope the impact on recruiting of the three assistant coach hires would have been greater.

Are you serious?

One of them has not even joined the team yet and the other 2 just showed up a couple of days ago.

Robinson is one of the most prominent recruiters in college basketball over the past 25 years.  My KU friends here were jealous when they found out that we lured him to Tucson.

Fois will need time because international recruiting is a tedious process.  He and Lloyd specialize in finding overseas talent; it'll work.

So far the consensus is it's too early to tell...

Recruiting, even International recruiting doesn't need to be the Tedious T. Lloyd style, for example WSU landed a Nigerian big man today the day after they offered him.

No one is actually a bust right now except Lloyd because he is only going to press forward with a good season with Miller's team or coach it in a backwards direction. By the time Lloyd gets all of "his guys" we will either be a de facto mid major in a power 5 conference or we will be a roll of soft Charmin toilet paper that only recruits average players via the transfer portal. I've positioned myself such that if I am wrong, we will be a top tier elite program and I will be happy anyway. So if you hate me now, don't hate me more for being right all along because I won't hate you if we end up winning Pac12 Banners 50% of the time and making the 2nd weekend consistently like our real leader Sean Miller had us doing before Heeke and Robbins made his work conditions more horrid than an Amazon Warehouse.
