Rick does a nice job of explaining options.

Now you can see where some of our weaknesses have been.
Anu did not like to run the ball after he took a few serious head shots. Thus he became less effective with more experience.
Scott and Denker both ran effectively without having great arms because they could read the D and make the right choices.
Dawkins is getting much better at reading the play and letting it come to him rather than forcing things. Now we have to see if that translates to game time performance. So much rides on the QB in this offense! Also, remember that after Zach's death, the OL never performed right from the start early on and the continuing injury issue through out the season never allowed the O to develope. The ASU game was when things finally came together. Remember that the run game was solid with Dawkins and Tate, but the reads were not happening in sequence so the O became predictable. Other teams loaded the box and confused the QBs even more with pressure. Both Dawkins and Tate are better prepared this year and the OL looks to be a strength to start the year. We will have to avoid the injuries for sure but the potential is there for this team to be explosive on O.

Here is a little more from RR on his philosophy to Offense. The QB has to read this stuff and make decissions before the ball ever snaps and through out the progression of the play as Rick pointed out earlier.
