I would say Tony Bullard should stay in his lane. Jay Johnson got a gig with one of the best funded programs in the nation known to produce elite MLB prospects such as Alex Bregman and got out from under our terrible AD. Another massive fail by Heeke in my book. Johnson made the championship series I believe right away riding a good team that was in place. As we know in other sports at Arizona - Immediate success with steady results thereafter is highly discriminated against and not supported by the cast of fairweather fans. The way a lot of fairweather fans think, Jay Johnson should have had at least 3 or 4 National Championships, but as most normal fans understand it is not easy to win it all once let alone many times over. Appreciate the contributions this coach made and hope for some mid major cronie to come along and pick up the pieces. This is the new Arizona way.

In baseball, Arizona fair weather fans did not exist because everybody stood by his side, despite being a .500 PAC-12 team until this season.

It's hard to say no to LSU. Personally happy for his pay raise...but I truly think we'll be better off in the long run with one of the other previously mentioned coaches at the helm.

Now that we know JJ interviewed while he was in Omaha, I'm guessing it's the later. Very disappointed in JJ, could have waited one week.
