Unless something drastic changes between now and the 15th, TyTy will be committing to Kentucky. TyTy has told a couple of his friends his choice and they've let it slip. There is a slim chance they're trying to pull a fast one and pick Arizona, but I wouldn't bet on it. We pretty much lost TyTy the day Hickman decommitted. Either way, Arizona will be fine and it's impressive to think Lloyd was close to land Washington in such a short time as head coach. [/hide]

Well, it seemed like all signs pointed to Arizona, but Kentucky is going to give TW a better chance to get to the NBA so I understand it.

Best case scenario, Arizona turns into a West version of a Baylor/Florida State/Virginia/Villanova.

Damm Hickman  really screwed us.
Lloyd should have had terry recruit  Hickman they were already familiar  with each other.

To bad lloyd needs to find us another pg.
He probably  needs to find a euro or a transfer.  Unless someone else decommits from another  school.

I hate whenever  we are battling Kentucky  or duke for a player.

If Washington  would have  committed  here he would have   been a star  an  had very little competition  for minutes .
I think over at Kentucky  he will have the ball less  he may regret not coming to Tucson, they have other guards an are still  recruiting  other guards.

Where lloyd was recruiting  just him.

This still isn't over.  I don't like the idea of any parent using their kid as a puppet during recruitment, but TyTy could obviously help if he decides to commit.

I still agree that I'm over the recruitment.  If we weren't shorthanded  at the PG position, I'd wish that he went to UK.  Unfortunately, we need a ballhandler.

I mean we currently have one good one (Kriisa), and in a worse case scenario, I can see a situation where Terry/Mathurin is going to be our backup ball-handlers.
We still have an entire summer for things to shake itself out though, so I know CTL will be able to find 2-3 remaining pieces to be able to field a respectable roster.

I personally am expecting a 2009 type of season from Arizona where CTL pulls a bunch of pieces together to get enough bodies.
Another mid-tier PAC-12 season, we miss the tournament and allow CTL an entire calendar year to restock/rebuild the program to be respectable/competitive again.
