The Arizona Wildcats and Indiana Hoosiers are planning a multi-year series which would feature two of college basketball's top coaches — Sean and Archie Miller — going head to head for three consecutive seasons from 2019-22, a source told FanRag Sports on Sunday.

Official dates and times are still to be determined as the logistics of the series are still being worked out.

The planned schedule of games would feature Indiana visiting Arizona in Tucson during the 2019-20 season with the Wildcats traveling to Bloomington during the 2020-21 campaign. The two programs would then meet again at Madison Square Garden during the 2021-22 season.

Archie Miller was an assistant under his older brother Sean at Arizona from 2009-11 prior to becoming the head coach of Dayton. He held that position until last March, when he filled the head coaching vacancy at Indiana.

Arizona is currently ranked second in the FanRag Sports Preseason Top 25. The Wildcats are expected to be favorites in the Pac-12 in the upcoming season.

This is a VERY good thing for both programs.
We swap with the home-and-home series, then the thought is that by the 2021-22 series, both programs would be elite and MSG would be a good venue for both programs to play on a big stage.
Whoever came up with this idea, I would say is VERY intelligent and is able to check all the boxes.
