Excellent addition to the Pacers. He is a lot like Steve Blake. Very steady and a good backup PG. It's nice to see fundamental players have a place in the Association.

Assuming he has saved and invested far more than he has spent, and given the amount of money he will have earned after six years, he and his family will be set for life. I wouldn't be surprised if he retires from the NBA after the two years and took up coaching, following in his father's footsteps. Tucson would be a nice destination if he chooses not to stay in the East.

Congrats TJ!! So many TJ's on the Pacers now, Warren, Leaf, and Mcconnell. Fun fact: every TJ to ever play in the NBA played for the Pacers. Those 3 I mentioned and TJ Ford lololol

He earned it and at the same time made all the "experts" (that said he'd never play in the NBA) eat crow.  It couldn't get any better.  No one with more heart than TJ.

Bear Down TJ...and CONGRATULATIONS!!!
