We had no idea about this Mathurin prospect a few months ago.
Miller will find the players, we just need to be patient while he turns over every stone (figuratively).

TBH, I think our dry spell, more than anything else, is the result of turning over our entire assistant coaching staff over the last two years. We lost out on Miller because Illinois has been on him for three years now. New staff means starting at the beginning with building relationships 2+ years out.

So, didn't help that the idiot Heeke let Phelps (and the players he was recruiting) go for no reason.

Your right uk we often forget about losing mark phelps who was the top recruiter  in the pac12 until   arizona let him go for no reason   when  I say top recruiter  I mean amongst assistant  coaches.

That too can be another reason, or be THE reason.
Either way, winning will begin to close that gap.
We are 6-0, ranked #14 in the nation, and appear to be trending upward?
I'll take that for now...

Hopefully the OSU NOA will also help. We're going to get an NOA, but it will likely only mean a loss of scholarships and/or probation. Without that cloud, we'll be good.
