Markkanen played one season at University of Arizona, averaging 15.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. The Finland native was a finalist for the John R. Nice!! Congrats to Lauri!! As long as his team passes him the ball he should be a very solid rookie!  Summer league is summer league I guess, guards taking every shot they can get lol Cameron Payne and Kris Dunn certainly missed an open Lauri a TON in their first SL game.

After announcing that he signed with Nike Markkanen finishes with 8 points on 1-13 shooting, 0-10 from three, 9 rebounds in 31 minutes.  It wasn't just Lauri.  All the Bulls stunk it up.  Not a good game from Denzel Valentine either — 4 points, 1-12 from the field, 0-8 from three, 9r rebounds, 2 assists.  The bulls were a combined 4-35 from 3.  Bulls Fans bout to Rage...

Yea that game was ugly for the Bulls to say the least.  My worry for Lauri is who is going to be his PG?  Things are a LOT easier when you have a great passer finding you for easy buckets.  Zach Lavine I guess?  Not really known at all for his passing ability.

As long as it is while he is with my Chicago Bulls, I am perfectly fine with that!

The way our roster looks like right now, K.Dunn is going to be our PG of the future and hopefully our starter, and J.Grant and/or C.Payne are going to be coming off the bench.
I don't like J.Grant as our PG so I am hoping we can move him and see what we have in Dunn and Payne (which he seems like he is about to play his way out of the league).

The way I see our roster panning out, this is how I expect (or hope) our lineup to look:
PG: K.Dunn
SG: D.Wade (if we don't buy him out)
SF: P.Zipser
PF: N.Mirotic
C: R.Lopez (if we don't move him)

I could see Hoiberg putting LaVine at PG with that lineup, but coming off an ACL injury, I would rather him come off the bench until we move Wade.
