I can confirm Brown is currently on the UofA campus on a visit. Hearing the recent news of Dawkins saying Miller wire tap didn't happen helped make this happen. Once Miller gets a player on campus things tend to sway in our favor.
The consequences of that report are still being felt, it's ridiculous.  That article put the thought that sometime, sooner rather than later, Miller would be fired in the forefront of every recruit's head.  If you remember at the point that article was written Arizona was still more or less in a large group of schools in a similar situation.  That article put us out in front of everyone.  It was the pretext for ESPN to use Miller as the face of both the whole FBI probe, the ADIDAS trial and the Nike trial.  Im not naive, I know how recruiting in major men's sports works.  But that report caused our class to quickly fall apart, nearly cost Miller his job(even still, ESPN reported in print and on live TV that Miller had been fired), set us up for the least talented team in a decade and then to find out it wasn't even true!?!  It's disgraceful.  Anyway, would be nice to land another big, especially one that would redshirt for a season.  Although, if his father brings more drama than he is worth then we may want to steer clear.  I think he was highly overrated as a HS recruit.  Lacks much of a face up game but has the body of a PF, a position that requires some sort of face up game.

Yea I would agree his dad is a concern but if we have a chance to reel him in I say go for it.

Anyone know if Jordan brown is scheduled any other visits or visited any other schools other than us   I know he has a list of schools he was considering.

It seems like Nevada is our toughest competition right now - of the 7 players that entered the transfer portal after the coaching change the other 6 have all returned and they're making a push to keep Brown on the team.
I wish that I could be more like Dickie V, but I'm just not willing to cut off half my dick and tape it to my forehead - ichi

He's gotta ask himself if he wants to play in the tournament next year. Nevada isn't making it, with or without him. I get the sense he's staying at NV... but we'll see.

I agree UK. I also think  that his dad will play a big role in deciding  his boys future but does Jordan wanna be the man at Nevada  but be no where close to making the tournament or play for Arizona who will make tournament  an have other good players  around him

I wonder what Alford is able to say to these players to have so many return.
They lose a lot of their talent to eligibility, and those players are what made good.

As a former player, if I were in that situation, I would be watching film on UCLA to see how the C was used and if that would benefit me to return.
With his game, there hasn't been one like him at UCLA to compare to with talent/potential and skill set.
I would leave if I were Brown but we will see..

Mypreed2.  Just curious  did you play basketball or another sport.

If Brown returns they're likely the favorite in the Mountain West and he'd be the focal point of their offense plus since he barely played last year I'd be surprised if he wants to sit out another year. But if I were a player and had a chance to play for Miller over Alford I'd do whatever I could to get to Tucson.
