Mckale Center ranked as the #25 home court in college basketball.  They have Kansas as the #1 home court. The big surprise is that GCU is ranked ahead of Arizona at #23. What do you guys think of this list?

I'm OK with Gonzaga, SDSU and UNM being ahead of McKale.  Their students are tucked away behind the basket & their enthusiasm provides a fun environment.

The blue-hairs of Tucson love Arizona basketball...but don't help the players get pumped up when the team needs a rally.  McKale is a great venue, but doesn't have the same atmosphere as smaller arenas.

Why are schools like Penn and Arkansas ahead of us?  No idea.

Maybe this is the Arizona in me, but I don't think there are more than five programs with a better home court advantage than us:

Gonzaga
Utah State
SDSU

That would be about it, but they put a DII ahead of us?
I don't pay attention to New Mexico so I'd push on them for now.
I'd want to know what the guidelines are for this ranking.

The Dean Dome is very similar to McKale.  Lots of old people & the fans bring plenty of energy.

As much as I torment the KU program...Allen fieldhouse is deserving of the #1 spot.  The fans are packed like sardines and it is an ancient facility that still has nice upgrades.  I try to see one game per year because I love basketball (although I sit quietly in hopes that the Jayhawks get upset).
