Hello. I had a really random encounter last night. This guy is a known local basketball coach/booster type. Without approaching him, he walked up to me and started talking about thielmans. I was very surprised as I hadn't heard thielman's name before arizona brought him to town for a visit. Anyhow, this guy told me he had tried to to get thielmans and a 2020 Belgian guard prospect to the states for highschool. Apparently this 2020 guy is elite. I complety forget the prospect's name but apparently he's a big deal and is/was a teammate of thielmans. Something to look forward to... I'll post the kids name when I find/remember it.

Talked with Omar and he said that last year he was considering going to a prep school in Cali since he didn't have any offers yet. Then he started getting some offers from colleges so he didn't do it. He also said the 2020 Belgian guard he was talking about was Joel Ekamba 6'4 SG who's actually a 2019 prospect.

I'm very intrigued about Omar as he just came out of no where at the perfect time for us. It would be so Huge if he can get some positive minutes this year since looks like the real deal in the highlight videos.

In the interview he mentions that he has a 6'7" wingspan (If I converted the measurement right) and that the best parts of his game are his defense and driving. He has a really nice floater and seems pretty quick-footed with a high motor. I love when a prospect mentions that defense is the best part of their game.
