FYI Chase Jeter has graduated already
BTFD!

I assumed he was close to that achievement.  Didn't know he already had.  Congrats to him! It's so rare for these kids to actually graduate anymore.

The real issue is how can Jeter improve his stock the most? By making a jump this year, or by returning for another year here, or finding another school to play his final year?
Making the jump? He has really started to blossom and is showing some of his potential he had coming out of HS. Has he shown enough, or will he by the end of the season to get him where he wants to be? Also, he seems to be enjoying his time here unlike at Duke and may just want to stay to work on his game some more.
Staying another year? There won't likely be a threat of another player taking his spot, but looking at his improvement to this point shows marked improvement in multiple areas. Again, if he is enjoying his time here and improving as well, he may choose to stay either way.
Finding another school? I just don't see where that benefits him. He thought Duke, tried Duke, and left Duke. Found success here and seems to like it here and is showing marked improvement here. Why take a chance on another school and find out he does not fit?
My thoughts? If he really believes he will go first round then he will go, otherwise I see him returning next year. Winner here? Both parties, Jeter and Arizona!

This seems to be the most logical post so I would like to spring board off of this one.

Jeter leaving now wouldn't do much for his stock, he has shown some of his abilities, but this team is not good and he hasn't been able to show his best games on the big stage.
I believe he would get an offer somewhere overseas, and maybe a two-way deal from the NBA.

I believe returning to Arizona is the best bet for everyone involved.
His spot is locked and he is going to play as many minutes as he can handle.
He is going to be playing on a better team, with MUCH more NBA talent (Mannion/Green/Nnaji) and the return of one or both of Williams and Randolph will have more scouts at our games.
It could simply be playing on a better team to boost his stock.

Leaving Arizona could work for him if he landed at a program that was better than Arizona.
Reid Travis is an excellent example of the point I am trying to make.
Even if he put up the same stats, doing it at Kentucky compared to Stanford I think would do a lot more good to his stock than bad.
There won't be many teams better than us (on paper) next season so if college is the route, he might as well stay here.

Chase Jeter isn't transferring, he isn't even considering transferring.

I think jeter needs to be able to hit 15 ft jump shot would help his stock consistently.

Agreed...and unrolling his shorts might elevate him a couple of draft spots too.

Has there been any news/update on the 6'10 kid from Belgium, Vrenz?
I know we need a big, he would be a stretch big, but you can't teach height.
It making me believe he's not "Arizona-good" and that's why we are holding off.
There is still an entire spring/summer for dominoes to fall though..
