I don't have the time, energy, or the knowledge to evaluate the recruiting for 2019, 2020, or any other year.  I don't know who's the best of these players and who's after them.  The one thing I have noticed though is that Coach Miller seems to be on a "Recruiting Bender".  It's like he's going all out on recruiting since the big "They did this...but there's no proof" Stuff.

Makes me wonder...could this have been the shove he needed to get "Over The Hump" and get to the Final Four and beyond.

Adversity often brings out the best in us. Let's hope that this is the push he needed.

Most of these aren't on the top 25 of the 2019 class, but I'm beginning to believe Miller is redefining what he wants in our prospects that aren't the sure fire 5* prospects.

I'd like to see us throw out a crazy Golden State like lineup with one PG, one big and three wings to be able to be able to maximize our production on offense.
I'm eager to see how this new "guard oriented offense" looks next season..

Seems like like he is recruting  a good mix of players an rating does not seem to matter

Agreed, and I believe that 2015 & 2016 run we started had Miller intentionally or unintentionally searching for star ratings.

#1 overall prospect in 2017
4 5* prospects
10 HS prospects top 10 of their position
All HS in the top 15 of their position (except Barcelona)
All HS prospects 4* or better

It can be easy to get caught up in that success.
I'd rather Miller take more of a Villanova approach and recruit "Arizona" players.
That way when they get that offer, they know it's not just a feeler, but we want you because we see something in you that would fit here at Arizona.

It could get to you

With the recent news of Nico Mannion reclassifying to 2019, I decided to remove him from the 2020 class and add him to 2019.

With the recent news of Nico Mannion reclassifying to 2019, I decided to remove him from the 2020 class and add him to 2019.

With Mannion likely being a lock and taking a scholarship, and assuming there are no early departures or transfers, UA will have 3 other scholarships to hand out. Who do you think are the priority targets? Based on position needs, ranking, and odds of landing the recruit, I'm thinking:

  • Josh Green
  • Jaden McDaniels
  • Christian Koloko
May be too much to hope for, but that would be an amazing class.

Those 3 guys you have on there would be perfect a center forward an guard forward

I would not be surprised though if there some players that leave early for draft thinking of akot randolph willams.

Also thinking I heard on radio show that sean Miller was really interested in bo.ellis who is another pg. That he wanted nico an him so that got me thinking maybe he expects b.willams to leave early.
