Is the FBI simply inept--or is it politically corrupt to the core? Inquiring minds need to know. How long before the DOJ intervenes?
Federal Bureau of Ineptitude?  Their reputation for leaks, honesty, transparency,or integrity, definitely isn't the best as of late.

How long before this goes from sports news to national news...

Hopefully this all turns out to be shoddy journalism and false allegations but it's already cost us one of our two recruits and I don't see how Miller is making himself look any less guilty by not showing up at practice today.

Not one word from ESPN tonite, my instinct is they either got served with a cease and desist or got a call from the FBI requesting sources, it would explain Mark Schlamabachs extended silence...

Mr. Zona

So last night I went through and read all of the official indictments against Dawkins, Book, Evans, etc (riveting stuff, let me tell ya). Mainly I was looking for one thing: any reference to the wiretaps and any associated dates.

After a bit of digging, I came across two references to the "Dawkins Wiretaps", one was in connection to Book and the other in connection to another school. Sure enough the dates mentioned are "in or around May of 2017" and "June 20, 2017".

This seems to squarely place the timeframe of the wiretaps in mid-2017, after Ayton as we all know committed in 2016. Unless there were multiple wiretap warrants placed on Dawkins' phone that spanned around a year, this doesn't seem to corroborate Schlabach's allegations at all.

Keeping my fingers crossed for some more good news!

Links to the actual court documents are all in this SI report from last year: https://www.si.com/college-basketball/2017/09/29/what-we-know-about-each-school-fbi-investigation
"Oh, and one more thing..."

The timeline thing is not only a major sticking point it is also one of the few ways the authors could have corroborated the story from Dawkins' lawyers. You can just type Deandre Ayton Signed LOI into google and you will find an article from Pascoe from November 2016 talking about Ayton SIGNING a LOI. That is all ESPN had to do to know their story had a big issue, they didn't do it, I say sue the shit outta them. Name Jay Bilas and Seth Greenberg in it too, those two turds shouldn't have been so quick to bury Miller.

The Miller wiretap report isn't anywhere close to the smoking gun that it initially seemed. (At least not yet, anyway.) Check out Ringer article in tweet below
