Wow I thought we had a real legit shot at this kid... I wonder what happened to not even make the top5?

I find it VERY interesting that two of the top prospects in the West (Stanley/McDaniels) cut Arizona from their final list.
To be honest, it makes me believe we either (1) have landed commits from other prospects or (2) Miller is trying to go in another direction and not recruit so many ONDs.
Build the foundation of the program with 2-4 year guys and land the few 1-2 year guys to take us over the top?
I'd be okay with that as long as we don't miss on the ones Miller really wants.

So who is left in that top tier that Miller would/should want?

Green
Robinson-Earl
Timme
Armstrong
Ellis

I know I'm missing a few, but how many realistic prospects are in Miller's top tier now?
Time will tell as more commit and eliminate programs, but I trust Miller and even when he misses, he doesn't miss so...

I am really surprised arizona did not make top 5 list wondering if miller had not backed off in his recrutment  or what happened  in guess we won't know now will have to see who miller is prioritizing now.

I'm hoping that this means Miller has the 2019 class locked in. Meaning he's told recruits like McDaniels that there isn't a scholarship available for them. If so, that would mean Green is a strong possibility along with one other ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Time will tell.

I'm now hearing Miller backed off of McDaniels as he has told people close to him he is going to pick SDSU.

Isn't that where his older brother ended up?
Man some of these lesser programs (SDSU/UNLV) definitely end up hitting the lotto with some of these prospects.
I would have loved to have him, but I'm more concerned about those that want to come to Arizona.

It's OK.  Guys like Brandon McCoy can choose the school & jump to the league without impacting the program.

UNLV can use their Las Vegas pipeline to land them, but boy do they not pan out at the next level.

I agree.  And I don't get why they think that essentially disappearing for a year is good for them?  Sure, they may get loads of playing time and be the featured player, but other than a few games a year nobody sees them.  And they certainly dont get exposed to NBA scouts like an Arizona player does.  Every year we have loads of scouts at the majority of our games to watch not only the Arizona stars but our opponent's better players.  It rarely works out for these kids that take that route of trying to be the man at a program that will lack exposure and not being challenged at all in practices or in conference competition.
Bear Down.

Wonder if the McDaniels recruitment is playing out like the Jordan brown recruitment  where dad is controlling it an making decision for him an his brother is already at sdsu.
