They didn't want to step on Borovicanin's feet.

As much as Lebron says he wants his children to blaze their own trail?
They sure do like to make sure they let people know huh?
Bronny wore #6 at USC, and now Bryce is going to wear #6 at Arizona.
Yeah, go and blaze your own trial son, but choose to wear my number.

It's obvious that the kiddos really look up to their dad. It's nice that he doesn't have ridiculous expectations for them. I'm not a huge fan of LbJ but I like the way he's guided their careers thus far.

I cannot be mad at this take.
I knew he was going to make both of them go to Ohio State or something like that.
Both of them landed at spots that looked very good for them in projecting the landscape 1-3 years down the line.

Bryce is projected to be a starter at the time of this post.
Awaka/Bradley/Dell'Orso/Nelson are out of eligibility.
Burries/Peat and possibly Aristode and/or Krivas should be off to the NBA.
That would leave this roster with Gueye/James/Kharchenkov/Mawut and possibly Aristode and/or Krivas.
Things are looking very good for Bryce at Arizona.

Totally agree. If he's patient, he'll have an opportunity to contribute for 3 years; assuming he doesn't redshirt this season.

I would imagine 2 or 3 of those names will transfer out as the international kids seem to often do. This is Bryce's team. Everyone knows it. No one except me really wants to say it boldly. Bryce should be getting good minutes this season. It will happen. Tommy will bend the knee.

KansasCityCats

Nah, you just pick one player every year that isn't ready to start on a D-1 roster, and claim that they need minutes. It's an excuse to complain about Lloyd every season. Val, Stephen and Dylan Anderson. Now we can listen to the "Bryce needs minutes" pitch every other day.

Yes, I try not to factor in transfers, but yes, you are right.
The chances are very high that there is going to be someone transferring out after this season.

As far as James goes, you and I have spoke about what we expect from him this season.
I am not as high on him because Lloyd has not shown the ability to put an underclassmen over a proven veteran (see Bryant over Townsend).
It would be better for Lloyd to play James because he is a better overall prospect than Dell'Orso.
What you take a hit on in shooting ability, you gain a plus in every other aspect.

In order for Lloyd to truly elevate the floor of this team?
He is going to have to put his emotions aside, and put in the best prospect regardless of class.
The sad part is I do not believe he is there yet
