He has until May 28 so he has us all waiting in limbo.

Tommy... Use them or lose them. This isn't funny anymore.

Come on back Carter. Improve your stock to the Top 6 next year with some Real NBA Talents around you. Not just having to watch Chuckers.

So he declared and did not tell anyone?
I am not saying he had to make a public announcement, but we live in an era where EVERYTHING gets leaked before he is announced.

Either way, I am kind of bummed it took this long to find out.
Now Lloyd needs to pivot, find his starting F/Wing if it is not going to be Dell'Orso, and figure out the last 2-3 spots in this rotation.
I am fine with you not using a scholarship right now.
There is no need to have 13 scholarship players if (1) they are not going to play and (2) they are not Arizona good.
Do not settle coach!

Absolutely. If Carter comes back, perfect. Aristode can work his way into the rotation gradually off the bench. That is by far the best possible scenario. But if Carter stays in the Draft, giving his starting spot to Aristode and recruiting a backup SF could be a better option long term than targeting somebody to step in front of him.

He needs to get feedback, regardless of whether he stays in the draft.  Carter would benefit from another year but it's hard to blame somebody for leaving if they're projected as a lottery pick.

Between Delly (who is likely bulking up under Rounds), Peat (who can shift between both Forward positions) and Aristode (who will gradually improve as the season progresses), we'll be fine at the SF position.

If Carter returns, the Cats will be STACKED, pending the commitment of a backup big man.

Who was the last Arizona player to undergo an actual physical transformation over the course of one off-season with Coach Rounds?

KansasCityCats

Ballo and Larsson. With Koloko slightly before them.
