Hurts came out of one tush push, acting like he wasn't injured. Not sure if the cameras caught it but I was behind the Philly bench and a trainer tried to help.

It's dangerous, offsides...and effective.

I don't doubt every player has some injury from the play. It also doesn't always work and that part is worse because Refs choose when to blow the whistle.

If I had to advocate for the play, I would say that the play is Dead as soon as Any Momentum is stopped. So get your RBs behind the QB right away or rely on your QB Center Exchange because I am tired of the Variance of when Refs choose to blow the play dead.

It is 100% effective if the Refs let it go long enough. 99/100 times you can't clearly see the ball. The "tennis review system" is solely dependent on where the ref spots the ball so it isn't like a GPS chip that proves anything de facto either.

Just blow the play dead as soon as whoever has the ball is stood up immediately. No 2nd, 3rd, 4th, swim effort allowed. BUT THAT'S NOT FOOTBALL EITHER....

So the only way to deal with it is to stuff it de-facto, hope the offense fucks it up (Huntley in the Playoffs 0.6yd from the Goal Line), or making sure the ball can't be snapped without a Ref counting Every Single Player and watching where they line up and such then giving a green light for the playclock to run... and even that will cause false starts and offsides jumps too.

So Refs are supposed to be more Hands ON about the play, but it will lead to more problems IMHO

Right on CUE

RG of the Eggles false starts. Causes a sequence that results in a free TD.

So my amendment is ANY Tush Push or QB Sneak play should be eligible to auto-review for any pre-snap infraction.

If it is Auto Reviewed, then the False Start, or offsetting, doesnt matter. Any penalty can be issued and get the play RIGHT above anything else from a Ref standpoint.

It is so obvious how Philly gets away with it when it is the Guard who is allowed to "false start" by tapping the Center pre-snap Normally, but in the Tush Push, they can do a fake subtle tap and just take off immediately before the ball is snapped.

That is the Trick to Philly's version.

Not only are they jumping early, the center is lined up over the ball, so he just falls down and allows Hurts to grab the extra yard. The media won't allow them to illegally run the play next season (and hopefully, the refs are trained to pay attention throughout the remainder of the 2025 season).

Nothing precludes Goodell from instituting an automatic review for pre-snap alignment. Expedited Review is already in place.

Your best friend Juwaan Taylor would get flagged 30 snaps a game and sadly Simmons is learning his game from Taylor doing the same. 2 yards off the Belt line of the Center almost every snap. Called once or twice.. not enough for me. KC has to stop cheating too.

The League threw almost the accurate amount of flags on KC last night knowing damn well NYG was tanking the game regardless. As soon as Skattabo got it going, they stopped. Nabors got his marching orders to not even try. Russ was paid handsomely to loft up those INTs and all those Giants Defenders who "cared"... well... letting Mahomes just take the ball back like that off a stupid throw was in the bag as well.

The whole weekend has been scripted from the Packers to the Bucs. All the blocked kicks/punts.

CeeDee Lamb even quit on the weekend.

If you ever follow betting, the Books were clobbered and this was their "get back" week.

Taylor should be flagged. The Chiefs aren't cheating when it comes to offsides; the refs are just blind. Simmons isn't Taylor and these are standard offensive line formations (not a frantic tush push).

The Giants got away with multiple phantom calls that allowed them to not get blown out, including a "roughing the passer" on Karlaftis, which merely pushed the QB's chest as he released the ball.
