The big12/ESPN viewing "experience" is about to get a significant and welcomed upgrade.

The Big 12 will see 13 of its football games per year moved from ESPN's streaming platform to linear television on WBD channels TNT and TBS. ESPN is also sublicensing 15 Big 12 men's basketball games to be aired on either TNT or TBS.

This deal will mean more big12 games will be off ESPN where BDU fan often laments how ESPN delays the start of the broadcast and bounces the games to one of the lower tier ESPN channels for the first 10-20 minutes.
Another improvement of having  more games off of ESPN will be a wider variety of broadcasters. BDU fan was stuck with the Fran Fraschilla and John Scambi show for much of the last basketball season.

It's important to note that this "news" is not new, it will be effective starting this Fall (2025) sports season.

Yormark must have made a drunk bet with a buddy a few years back that he would never create a Big 12 Network. He's avoiding it like the plague.

I am just here to collect more "posts" so my Shoutbox color can change from "baby shit" brown to "monkey puke" brown.

He acquired the Pac-12 because the network essentially killed itself.  ACC Network is garbage and the SEC only survives because they get decent exposure as a result of ESPN sticking their nose up the ass of the conference.

Big-10 network is OK but the conferences will likely change again within the next 5 years and everything will require adjustments.  Let's just mooch off TNT/TBS for the short term!
