Great news!

Glad to have his consistency at rebounding back. When Tobe grabs a board - he secures it. And we need that skill esp in the Big12.

Looking forward to watching him in an Arizona jersey again this next season.

He continued to improve as the season progressed. Love it.

Veesaar leaving might me a blessing in disguise as I believe we lose Tobe if he stays. Tobe may be the best rebounders in the nation and he got better as the season went on.

He needs to really work on having more gentle hands on receiving passes and he needs to work on box jumps because he really has no "ups" and he consistently gets under the rim, but unable to perform a standing/stationary dunk. FT% needs to improve. Mid Range threat around the elbow would really open up some actions for Bradley and Burries. Koa and HOPEFULLY Carter would really EAT if Awaka can play from that area, learn to pass as well and then roll to the rim for Rebounds, Put Backs and all he is actually great at.

That's a lot to learn.  I just love his energy and effort.

Pert, you think Tobe Awaka just doesn't bother with box jumps?  As the father of a (young) basketballer, all the kids at this level have been engaged in that kind of training most of their lives...
