Be mad at Tommy Lloyd.

He made just about every incorrect call tonight possible down to the final possession.

Townsend had no business on the floor.

BYU outplayed Arizona.

BYU's Coach outcoached the living shit out of Tommy.

The sheer Will Power of Shot Making kept us in the game.

Absolutely NOTHING Tommy called for was responsible for the chance to win that game at the end.

Channel your anger properly. We aren't going to get "Tony Padilla" every other game when it comes to March Madness. It was a reasonable call even with the Offensive Player initiating the contact.

Henri on the floor at the end takes all of that away. Even if he is blown by he can still recover and block a layup attempt.

Also you can definitely blame the Effort of the team (other than KJ Lewis) ---> Caleb Love allowed a free Layup off a brick without wrapping up Keita.

That is the difference between Arizona and Houston. Houston, just like BYU, AND EVERYONE knows to make us have to hit 2 shots to earn 1 bucket. Tommy Lloyd is not coaching this team to do the same to our opponents. There is no guarantee some micro-big named Keita hits both FT's on a 1 and 1 with a foul on the floor.

Don't Get Mad For The Wrong Reasons.

Learn Basketball.

Good for BYU, that literally was the end of the Big12 Banner and now it is on to the Double-Bye and the journey beyond.

Tommy has to be better In-Game. Even his "scouting report" for this game with ALL the time off to gameplan was incorrect from the beginning with Townsend.

Just like Earlier this season. When we get almost a Week off, we lose our focus and momentum. We just look a lot better these days than back then. It is pure lipstick on a pig right now.

CHANNEL ANGER FROM THE INSIDE OUT. It was NOT 1 bad call tonight.

It's pretty ironic that the worst defender on our team rose to the challenge and actually played solid defense for once, then got swiftly punished for it.

KansasCityCats

Our team played a solid game against a team that was up by 30+ throughout a majority of the game in Bill Self's worst loss of his entire career.

If somebody is looking to blame anybody outside of the call that blatantly gave the game away, they're obviously not a fan of Arizona.

Lousey call that was not a foul, Townsend actually  played nice defense  there an gets called for a foul when he had nothing,an we lose, if arizona  played decent defense we probably  when, but dropping 96 points tells us our defense was bad, byu 14 3 pointers an over 50% shooting.

Our defense was bad. Letting a team score over 90 is not a solid effort. We deserved to lose. Not sure why Townsend was in there, not sure why he ended up on Saunders, not sure why we keep trying that bullshit full court heave inbounds pass. 3.6 seconds is plenty of time for Caleb to get the ball, take two dribbles and get a decent look. This loss was on a lack of defense. Tommy did not do a good enough job down the stretch to give us a chance to steal it.

All these takes of don't get mad at the call because Arizona should've took care of business throughout the game is correct in a way. But, a game absolutely is never perfect. The truth of the game is what it was. BYU played their best & we were swinging back. It was a heavyweight fight, trading haymakers. What I don't agree about the statement or the post is the last call dictated the end of the game. That was not by any means a foul. Townsend held his ground, slid his feet & had his hands straight up. So, yes could Arizona been better the first 30 mins? Sure. But, they busted their tail & fought back just to be screwed.

That wasn't Padilla's call to make either. The baseline ref had a clear view. No obstruction. Terrible calls throughout the game, yes there always is. You don't make a terrible call there in the final seconds.

KansasCityCats

This BYU offense has been hitting remarkable shots for the past couple months. They're consistent from the perimeter and I'm pretty sure their coach will end up in the NBA at some point.

Did we allow them to blow by our guards?  Yes. We should have adjusted. But the way they finished around the rim deserves credit.

100%.  You can't give up 96 on your home court and blame it on anyone but your defense

It is ironic, but Townsend shouldn't have been out there.

Kansas isn't better than BYU. Simple as that.
