The Wildcats were up 42-19 at the half and led by as many as 27 as they cruised to the victory. The Red Raiders shot an even 50% from the floor, including five of 13 from beyond the arc, and controlled the boards by a 35-24 margin. Darrion Williams led the way with 16 points for Texas Tech in the win.

The Red Raiders are averaging 83.9 points per game on the offensive end of the floor this season, putting them 23rd in the nation in scoring offense.
