In my opinion henri needs to play 30 minutes  a game, he is the best big on the team, unless he is in foul trouble

I also  think carter should be playing 20 to 25

minutes a game.

Just imagine if krivas doesn't  suffer  from season  ending injury henri would have been the 4th big an not seen much playing  time.

The scary thing is how many people support Tommy's decisions while I scream these things before the change occurs and only due to catastrophic injury to Krivas.

Carter needs more shots. Henri and Carter have developed a Bash Brother mean streak. Tobe is not really there yet. He doesn't like to be bitched around obviously, but he hasn't figured out how to gently lay the ball in on offense while taking off an opponent's head on defense properly.

No fan wants to see Henri or Carter sitting on the bench, especially if they're improving their shooting efficiency.

But both kids commit silly fouls at a high rate and Lloyd can't afford to rack up the fouls AND put opponents at the line.

Veesaar is playing the way we all expected him to play. I'd like to see more rebounds but overall, I love his effort.

It's not that many fouls. Tobe is more of a foul issue than anyone yet he still plays. We generally don't put people on the line for no reason. There is nothing wrong with 3 fouls on our "bigs" especially when the game plan is to run and chuck. Not run and gun. Tommy has no interest in coaching the full spectrum of basketball.

I agree. With Henri, Townsend, Awaka and Stephen in the frontcourt, we could afford to be more aggressive with our rotation.

Bryant unfortunately put himself in a tough spot against Tech. He left his feet less than 60 seconds into his first shift. Then committed two other silly fouls that resulted in free throws and time on the bench. He's typically smarter on defense and I truly think Lloyd was prepared to give him more minutes Saturday if those hadn't occurred.

Hopefully we'll see an increase in PT on Tuesday.

Bryant is a One and Done. He is not going to "learn" anything positive from being yanked off the floor in what you just described. The easiest way to fix the foul problem is to play Zone's and to let Carter play Weak Side/ Help Defense. Ever wonder how Wemby never fouls out or how Lebron never fouls out? Those guys play off the ball and Help. In fact, Wemby only averages about 2 fouls per game and that is incredible since opponents barrel into him as much as possible trying to draw contact on a guy who blocks shots.Tommy just has Carter playing out of position. He should be a 2/3 on Defense and a 3/4 on Offense. I know that could sound backwards, but the truth is he can close out on any perimeter shooter and he can let a Guard blow by him, then make up for it the same way Lebron does with a clever chase down block. On offense he can easily play classic SF and PF. Tommy is just afraid he will get hacked and miss his FTs.A valid fear, but in all the 30pt blowouts, Tommy wasted the opportunity to get Carter action and get him to the line to practice in game FT shooting. So even if Carter misses, he is still accumulating Fouls on the opponent getting us to the Bonus and Double Bonus quicker.

NBA stars don't foul out because they get 6 fouls, in addition to preferential treatment. They also don't play defense until the playoffs so leaving your feet when a shooter releases the ball isn't a thing.

Did Koloko learn from returning?  Yes. Bryant has a positive attitude and wants to become a better basketball player. We've seen him improve over the course of the season and with the offseason, he'd immediately become the offensive focal point of what appears to be a loaded team.

Are you insane? We just played Baylor. Everyone on that roster had 4 fouls vs us. You actually think there is no preferential treatment? If the Refs were calling it "COLLEGE STYLE" as opposed to "NBA STYLE" then Baylor would have had no players left.

Holy cow.

This is exactly why I have no fear in leaving out Henri, Awaka, Bryant etc with 3 fouls. Refs know the tone of the game.

And finally - You just proved you don't watch NBA basketball. Wemby is literally never in a position to take a foul by schematic design. Does he get 1 or 2 a game? Sure. So does Lebron. Happenstance.

But it is not preferential treatment. They actively avoid fouling and give up plenty of ground to do so. That doesn't always mean they give up points. They trail the play and get a ton of blocks.

It is schematic. No reason Tommy can't scheme it up. You seem to believe he has a system. So if he has a system, he can have schemes. Wow.

KansasCityCats

NBA is worthless. It's for sports fans that care more about shoes than teamwork.

I stopped watching BECAUSE preferential treatment exists.
