If there is a game that is upgraded to Must-Win it would be this one.

That said, blame me if it all goes terribly wrong. I put Tommy in the W column on the prediction post. My bad.

KansasCityCats

That says everything about coaching, practice and execution (but primarily coaching).

It's my fault. I take the blame. I should have never given Tommy the benefit of the doubt. I sincerely hope Boswell is looking for a new school to attend next season. He is effectively the worst player out of any Ranked Team at this point.

The worst coaching I have seen in a long time. Tommy actually starts Boswell and can't even finish a game with him in there. Tommy has never learned. Tommy will never learn. We are a 1st round out again. This is not a team with any poise to make a deep run until Boswell is taken out of the equation.

To think Boro, Paulius, or even Conrad sit there and watch this is disgusting to me. All players who could be more impactful if they were given proper opportunities and it is too late for them.

Shame on Tommy. Shame on Boswell.

For those who think Boswell is going to be "Miles Simon" come March... that would be akin to hell freezing over.

KansasCityCats

Unless you have a biased opinion, this was a well-coached game for both teams.

Lloyd recognized when Jones was taking advantage of the isolation and he put in Krivas to double-team him in the interior, which sparked the Arizona comeback.

The Cats had a higher shooting percentage and outperformed Wazzu in rebounds, assists, steals and blocks.

Yes, losing this game had negative implications towards the conference title but it was a well-played game by both teams.  One slip was enough to cost us the final opportunity...

KansasCityCats

And FWIW, Jakimovski is typically the guy that kills us from Wazzu.  100% credit to Boswell for keeping him in check all game.  I didn't think he had the ability to guard a guy with a significant height advantage but he shot a miserable 1 for 8 with Bam Bam primarily taking the assignment.

I'm not going to quote both posts, but any one can have a bad shooting game. Boswell has them every game just about. SO your point of defense for Boswell doesn't work.

There's no bias when it is a proven fact. We don't play better basketball with Boswell. Said it for months. You've attempted to defend it for months. No one besides hopeless robotic fans believe this is going to get better anymore. We shouldn't be in a position where we are overwhelmingly happy if Boswell doesn't cost us a game. It is almost March. Simple as that.

And I truly mean it - The only ones who defend this are either blind to the negative effect or they are going to root for Zona as a rah rah fan who is merely happy to watch "their team", but doesn't care about winning nor the expectations.

The disappointment in a loss is not really the main point. Tommy squandered the Pac12 title last year being a chicken shit head coach sticking with Mr 2-8 Kerr and now he's doing it with Boswell. At some point it is just his coaching philosophy and it has not been proven to be good enough. Don't care if he got extended. Don't care he got paid. No contract disproves me.

KansasCityCats

Boswell isn't playing like a first rounder but we have no other options as a true PG. Bradley's numbers are never better when he gets increased minutes and the Cats are still projected to be a top seed so I don't understand why there's so much pessimism towards a team that is elite for the first time in 9 years.
