heaven forbid Tommy lets Krivas play. This chart only serves to show how poor Freshman impact is around college basketball. Definitely a correlation to NIL and the overall ability to be a mercenary for hire. Better to load up with 23-25 year olds than rely on 18 year olds. Calipari is actually getting exposed by this and Coach K got out just in time because he didn't have it in him to actually COACH anymore

Big jumps from what they were rated preseason!

Love the way Lewis plays - energy and hustle. Mt Krivas avg 12mpg and is getting 6.7ppg, grabs 4.5rpg and is shooting 58.7 - what's not to like? Glad they're both Cats.

Phillips and Carter are going to be 1 and 2 respectively on this list next season.

Lewis and Krivas are fantastic role players this year. Looking forward to a couple years more of their development.

A junior Krivas will have the muscle necessary to compete. A junior Lewis will have the jump shot needed to keep defenses honest. Both have incredible instincts.

The one thing I have noticed is that Lloyd lets his guys play, which is one thing Miller did.
Krivas has shown he deserves more minutes, but his defense is suspect in some games.
Lewis has shown the same, but at times he can't seem to keep his hands off whenever he gets beat off the dribble.

I was trying to project the starting five next season.
My main question was whether or not BOTH Krivas/Lewis would be in the starting lineup.
I believe Krivas will, but I believe Lloyd might could start anyone of Bradley/Carter in that G spot vacated by Love.
That F spot vacated by Larsson could be filled by Borovacinin/Maruskas or Phillips.
I could see a situation where both freshmen could start though.

If Krivas played as many minutes as Ballo he'd average less points and rebounds than Ballo based on his current stats. Im not a numbers guy but it seems like Krivas is coming along nicely and doesn't need to be pushed any more than he is. The only potential problem I see is Ballo getting gassed down the stretch.

KansasCityCats

Agreed.  Ballo gets gassed AND is a liability when shooting FT's.  I'd like to see Krivas get more minutes in the final quarter of the game, assuming the score is close.  Otherwise, Ballo is the reason opponents are shooting 3's; they can't get easy buckets inside.

Not until next season when he is left with no choice.

You don't need muscle if you have hands and footwork. Krivas has neither. MORE IMPORTANTLY, Krivas has no minutes. So he is only as effective as he is allowed to play.

Imagine the day Tommy allows Krivas to play the game and take an 8 foot jumper. Imagine the cutting lanes that open for an Unblockable release point.
