With only 30 days to decide whether they're transferring, a quick decision with a coach that is already proven in Tucson should be an easy decision. Make the deal with Nansen...

If Noah and McMillan choose to leave, they will regret it. At this point all bets are off. The gloves are off. I would just stay if I were them and run the playbook, but even better. We can always find recruiting grifters. What is/was in place is something that clearly threatened the entire landscape of College Football to this extreme of a degree. So we know with 100% certainty that it is the players, not the Coach that matter.

Pay Noah
Pay McMillan

Pay whoever else besides Coleman.

Ruin Jedd.

We barely have enough money to pay a coaching staff. Our NIL boys aren't coming up with 7 figures each to keep both players.

We had enough money to offer Jedd what? 5 Million a year? In the end, it's all a fugazey. That money was funneled to Jedd and kicked back to Heeke. It's all a ponzi. If you don't think there are rich people in Arizona then I don't know what to tell you.

Arizona can become the first school to openly pay players via NIL who have a proven playbook and pay virtually nothing to the coach. But whatever. Back to being a Basketball school. Being a football school was fun while it lasted.

When I get my hands on Jedd's playbook, I will make sure to do the right thing with it.

Both Servite kids come from good families that aren't struggling financially and want to do what's best for their NFL futures.

I don't think money will be the determining factor and they'll choose the best situation (hopefully).

Losing their entire offensive staff hurts our chances, unless we retain a leader like Nansen, who can convince them that our OC replacement is proficient enough to immediately step in and run a high scoring offense.

If you are saying that there is an opportunity to keep this all together without Jedd and it all gets messed up from this point, then I can't see why anyone would waste another thought on this program. If there is no chance, then I can understand moving on and just focusing on Basketball again.. But to fumble a fluid situation at this point? That SHOULD lead to nothing short of campus riots to get Heeke out of here.

I agree, to an extent.

If everybody bails (players, assistants, etc.) then Brennan still deserves our fanbase's support and an opportunity to win.  Who knows, perhaps he could eclipse Tomey's 95 wins in an emotional yet happy circumstance.

If this experiment fails, I'm optimistic that there would be a change in Administration.  Arizona would throw the baby out with the bath water (considering the fact that our football program is CURRENTLY in a great place).

But isn't the point that there will be "Draconian Cuts" ??? If the experiment doesn't work out, then I don't see how there will be any further investment into a lost cause. Basketball can always print money, but entering the BIG12 is still a different ball game too. I think the Administration would need to be forced out now if there was a chance to keep this Football team together by large and they fumble it.

KansasCityCats

Nah, the Draconian Cuts mentioned by Robbins were in reference to the entire University, not specifically the Athletic Department.  Although they'll likely shave some money off the smaller programs, I don't anticipate that our basketball or football programs will decrease the pay of coaches (although the NIL will destroy all college athletics within the next 20 years, which is another story).
