Turran Williams 2024 3 🌟 6'3 S Has Committed To The Arizona Wildcats!

Williams Turran Williams is a 6-3,190-pound WR/Safety from Pasadena, CA. He chose the Wildcats over Washington, Utah, Boston College, and Colorado St.

Williams, from John Muir High School in Pasadena, is a problem in the defensive backfield. He has a fantastic frame, 6-foot-3 and around 190 pounds, that has more than enough room to add additional muscle once he gets into Tyler Owens' strength program. He has very good instincts and showcases solid vision to marry-up with those instincts. He reacts to plays quickly and is able to be around the ball often. He has good closing speed and it is very clear he likes contact. Williams is more-than willing to smack an opposing ball carrier, so much so that he has disrupted receivers making a catch on numerous occasions. He has the flexibility and athleticism to play corner and is effective against the run as well.

"I loved it at Arizona," Williams said. "I've been a few times, unofficially for a game and then my official visit and I feel really comfortable there.

"It's a nice change of pace for me from Los Angeles and I fit in well. I like the overall vibe there and the pace of the city so I'm excited for my decision."

Williams said his comfort level with the players on the team and the coaching staff played a big role in his decision as well.

"Being around the players and coaches was probably the high point of the official visit for me," Williams said. "I've been to Arizona before but I was able to spend a lot more time on campus and really connected well with everyone there.

"That was the biggest difference about the official visit, being able to spend the whole weekend on campus and really connect with all the guys. Ephesians Prysock was my host but I was around a lot of the guys and they all treated me great. They really welcomed me in, made me feel like I was part of the family already."
