University of Arizona senior offensive lineman Zach Hemmila died overnight as he slept, the school announced Monday. He was 22.

Arizona head football coach Rich Rodriguez told reporters he didn't know the details of what led to the death of Hemmila, a senior studying regional development, but he informed his players of Hemmila's passing after practice. Arizona athletic director Greg Byrne said Hemmila "passed away in his sleep last night."
