Was Arizona's Allonzo Trier blackballed from the NBA?

The main rumor I've heard for years is that Trier was romantically involved with then Knick coach David Fizdale's wife. There's also some who say that he was a cancer in the lockerroom.

The quote from the story below has a different rumor about Phil Jackson being the reason he's blackballed.   

"Some people believe that Trier has been blackballed because of his association with former Knicks president Phil Jackson. Jackson is known for being a difficult person to work with, and some believe that he has put the word out to other teams not to sign Trier."

The reason Zo isn't in the NBA could just be for the simple fact that ISO Zo really didn't pass the ball or play good defense in his time as a Knick. It does seem odd that he hasn't gotten another shot as the one thing for sure is that he gets buckets.

Not sure about this. If I've learned anything about pro sports its that content of character means nothing, its all about being able to ball. If a player can help win games, doesnt matter what ya do.

Year 1 - Impresses everyone. Breaks records. Knicks fans are excited to see what he can do in a larger role in Year 2.
Year 2 - Barely plays and then gets waived. Knicks fans can't figure out what the hell the franchise is doing.

I have a female friend who is also friends with Allonzo Trier. According to her, a couple of years ago when Allonzo was in-between jobs he would spend alot of time with Deandre Ayton up in Phoenix. Over the last year or two my friend has lost touch with Allonzo and really doesn't know what he has been up to lately.
