Nice I would personally  love to see  him end up at arizona.

My worry now is he is heading for a visit to Kentucky  later this week.

The last place I would ever take a recruit is to Luis Gonzalez's Father's restaurant

Every prospect should have a great visit to schools like Arizona where basketball is king.
The real question has Arizona done enough to separate themselves from the rest of the pack?

Kier, Henderson and Ramey all averaged more points at their previous programs than Keshad Johnson last season.

All of those players averaged less rebounds and a significantly lower FG% in their most recent NCAA season.  None could defend like Keshad either.

I keep saying we need 3+D guys for Mark Few's system (Tommy's system). The fact is - Every school needs 3+D guys for Any system. But no system needs it more than an uptempo Run N Gun system. Too many shots taken. Efficiency is not as important, but shot making is. Can't continue to have "1-9 From 3" type of players in this system.

If we have to recruit someone like this to just play lockdown defense and make a few plays per game like an alley oop, layup/outlet dunk, or 1 2nd half 3pt shot that can take some defensive pressure off of Boswell and Bradley then I would say it is a Win for where we are currently. Tommy needs to be able to play more than 6.5 players if he wants to truly succeed. I think he would be able to go to 7-9 players if he adds an experienced guy like this. Basically the minutes Bal would have been looking for without the Usage Rate or "demanded shots"

Yes, Ramey, Henderson and Kier all had less stats at Arizona, but so would Johnson.

Ramey was on the BIG12 All Conference team as a honorable mention at Texas.

Cedric Henderson averaged 5.6 rebounds as a guard per game his last year Campbell Johnson only averaged 5 at SDSU. Henderson was also the on the All Conference Big South honorable mention list.

Justin Kier averaged 6.5 rebounds as a guard per game at George Mason, Johnson only averaged 5 at SDSU. Kier was on the Atlantic 10 All Conference 2nd team.

Johnson has never received conference recognition, defensive or otherwise.

Keshad may have less rebounds if he's playing on a bigger team but Lloyd's system allows power forwards to be more efficient with their shots and his 52%+ from the field will be significantly better than our more recent transfer options.  We need an efficient upperclassmen that won't take selfish shots and will play tough D.  I think KJ would fill that role nicely!

That's fine, as long as he is a second or third option off the bench imo.
