In the true spirit of my unbiased commentary I want to make a key observation:

#14 TCU is currently thrashing #2 Kansas right now by 20 points. Will it hold up? Maybe. Doesn't matter. Kansas as already lost to Kansas St earlier this week. So what they say???

The point is that the TCU team playing Kansas is the entire returning Starting 5 plus 2 bench players that we saw in our 85-80 Overtime win vs TCU last season. Would this victory propel TCU into the Top 10? Possibly.

"WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT ARXPERT?" (as I view some of you who foam at the mouth against me)

Sometimes teams that have a good performance in March vs Us VALIDATE themselves the following season with the same roster.

Does this jog anyone's memory?

It jogs mine.

A 13 seeded Buffalo had a very legitimate upset over Arizona in the Big Dance. A true styles make fights counter punching assault. Then came back with the same squadron and had a 30+ Win season, earning a 6 seed. They also won $1,000,000 together in TBT last summer. Another notable Win for their brotherhood that obviously extended beyond college with Nate Oats, how I believe is coaching Alabama has that team currently as a 1 seed with the same type of style of play.

These things happen lads. Sometimes when judging "bad performances" you need to be patient and consider the source.

Yes, we won vs TCU. We also got lucky that Big Eddie Lampkin destroyed his ankle and Mamba Mathurin hit one of the best shots of the Tournament (in what I believe was THE game of the Tournament) ---> That is not to say the Final wasn't a great game, but I don't happen to personally enjoy "20pt leads / tale of 2 halves". I like Competitive, back and forth games with maybe a 10-0 run for 1 team, then a 10-0 run response. That is "entertaining" to me.

So in conclusion, always try to give credit where credit is due and in terms of College Basketball failures, it is always important to leave some space for future information to help get a better perspective on the why's and how's.

If you were watching today, you'd recognize that Lampkin blew his ankle against Kansas and they still won on the road by 23. They also beat KU in March (during the regular season), shortly before we ended their season.

Hence, why I highlighted that they were not frauds at all and admired Arizona's narrow victory over TCU. Never took them lightly as if we had some poor performance against them. Anyone can knock off a top ranked team here and there, but they are now a proven good ranked team with the same roster and are very dangerous.
