R.J Barret the #1 player of 2018 has Arizona on his final 5 list. Oregon might be our toughest competition to land him.

No. 1 RJ Barrett narrows list to five

2018's top player, RJ Barrett, narrowed his list of schools to five on Wednesday.
Barrett announced via Twitter that he's down to Arizona, Duke, Kentucky, Michigan and Oregon. His father -- Rowan Barrett -- also confirmed the list of five.

At this time, Barrett, a 6-foot-6 wing out of Montverde (Fla.) Academy, has yet to set up any official visits, according to his father.
"No," he said when asked about visits. "Step by step."
Barrett had a huge summer, as he was named MVP of the FIBA u19 World Cup, after leading Canada to a Gold Medal, including a 38-point outburst that helped knock off USA in the semi-finals. Barrett led the event in scoring, averaging 21.8 points through seven games of action.

Michigan?

On every recruits top list there is always a school that just doesn't make sense to me.
Unless there is some serious connection with Barrett and the Michigan program, why in the hell would you put them in?

I'm guessing since he's from Mississauga, Canada, Ann Arbor is only a 1 hour plane ride away. No idea where his family lives currently since he goes to Montverde Academy. If his family is still in Canada, Michigan is one of the best schools within that proximity.  Just a guess.

I am going to accept this.
If that is the case though, I would think Michigan State would be a lot better option than Michigan.
