Little George

Just want to highlight a little about this class.

OL, Grayson Stovall was our first 2022 commit that has stayed with us from Hamilton HS, Chandler AZ. He grades out as the 1048th best player in the class. Remember our averages have been much higher in the 1500 range as for recruiting. So even though the three star range is broad, we are talking upper end of that range. Grayson is in an area of need on the IOL and may find some early PT. Offers included: ASU, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan State, Oregon State, and Utah as well as others.

CB, Tacario David was our second commit from Millikan HS, Long Beach CA. He grades out 1338th best player in the class which is still above the past averages for Arizona FB recruiting. Again this is an area where depth is needed badly. Offers included: ASU and Kansas.

RB, Jonah Coleman was the third commit of this class from Lincoln HS in Stockton CA. He is the 485th best player in the class which is way above average for Arizona and is an impressive player. We have been solid at RB for some time now and this is another solid addition. Offers included: ASU, Colorado, Oregon State, and Tennessee as well as others.

DT, Jermaine Wiggins was the fourth commit to stick, from Bridgeton Academy, Bridgeton Maine. His dad played in the NFL for a while and he is likely under-rated as he is from Maine. He was the top player from Maine and the 1518th rated player in the class. He played WR and OLB in HS so athletic for his size.

Little George

QB, Noah Fafita was the fifth commit and is from Servite HS Anaheim CA. UNDER-rated at 661st rated player in the class because of his size he has all the tools to lead Arizona into a bright future. He is a leader both on and off the field! Offers from: California and six other schools. The players surrounding him love him and it shows in his ability to recruit other top talent to Arizona already.

IOL, Jonah Savaiinaea was the sixth player in the class and is from St. Louis School in Honolulu HA. Again a position of need and see early PT. Rated the 1395th best player in the class. Offers from: ASU, Syracuse, and four other schools.

Edge Rusher, Russell Davis was the seventh commit of the class and is rated the 1047th best player. Also from Hamilton HS in Chandler AZ. Offers from: Boston Coll, Duke, Iowa State, and seven other schools.

WR, AJ Jones is the eighth commit of the class. He is rated the 751st best player in the class with offers from: UCLA, ASU, and six other schools. At 6'4" he should be a nice big target on the outside and is familiar with Noah.

Little George

DT Isaiah Johnson was the 9th commit and is from Chandler HS in Chandler AZ. Rated as the 1488th best player in the class. He had four offers including a Colorado offer. This is a position of great need for the program and he may see some time early.

TE, Keyan Burnett was the tenth commit and really where many began to see an uptick in recruiting. He is also from Servite HS in Anaheim CA. He is rated as the 164th best player in the class and could be a game changer for the program. He had offers from Washington, Utah, Oregon State, Nebraska, Miami, Colorado, California, ASU, USC, and seven other schools.

TE, Tyler Powell was the next commit and has the build to step in and play right away. Rated at the 1275th best player inthe country with offers from: ASU, Auburn, Florida State, Iowa State, UCLA and others. He is from Brophy Prep in Phoenix AZ

LB/DE Sterling Lane was the twelfth commit from Oaks Christian in Westlake Village CA.  He is rated the 332nd best player in the country and opened some eyes with his commitment. His offer list included fourteen P5 schools and others. He should be an impact player on the D side.

Bkatt

Offensive Line and 1 addition QB.

Little George

LB, Tyler Martin from Buckingham Browne & Nichols School, Acton MA. Currently rated the 616th best player in the class was once a Michigan commit under Don Brown's recruiting. He decommitted after Don Brown moved to Arizona. At the time he was listed as a four star guy in the top  300 players in the country. I know his play never dropped off so I assume that other players blew up or he dropped because he was no longer committed to Michigan? This guy is solid with offers from Michigan, Nebraska, Arkansas, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Virginia, and others.

LB/DB Jacob Manu from Servite HS, Anaheim CA, is a great prospect that will likely play the hybrid safety spot. Rated the 866th best player in the country he is hardly mentioned by many, but would be at or near top of what would be our normal classes. Another guy in which Noah had great influence.

IOL, Jacob Reece from Brighton HS in Salt Lake City UT rated at 1779th in the country. He has the size to come in and contribute early and the staff was impressed enough to bring him in. Hopefully he will develope into a nice piece of our OL.

Edge Rusher, Isaiah Ward is from Colony HS, Ontario CA. Rated the 813th best player in the class he bring size and talent to the D. Again, he would be talked about as a big get in a normal Arizona class. His offers included: Oregon State, Utah, ASU, WSU, and others.

Little George

WR, Kevin Green Jr from Bishop Alemany HS in Mission Hills CA. his rating is lower simply because he is not a 6'2" receiver. Very talented player rated as the 480th best player and yet ESPN has him as a four star guy. His offers included: USC, ASU, Nebraska, California, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, Stanford, Tennessee, Utah, WSU, and more. Play maker here along with his team-mate that has also signed with us.

CB, Ephesians Prysock also from Bishop Alemany HS. He committed just days after his team-mate Green. Rated the 248th player in the class is NOT your typical Arizona FB commit. These two guys will be play makers at Arizona! His offer list is bigger and better than Green's so we know we are getting a top of the class player here.

Edge Rusher, Taitai Uiagalelei from Mater dei HS in Santa Ana CA. Held an offer from WSU and a couple other schools. We have depth at that position and maybe he can develope into a play-maker for us in the future, but does come from a solid program and is rated as the 1505th best player.

Athlete, Jai-Ayviauynn Celestine from Polmetto HS in Miami FL. Rated the 1103rd best player in the class with an offer from Florida State as well as a handful of other schools. He looks to be a nice return guy.

Little George

WR, Tetairoa McMillan from Servite and once an Oregon commit as Oregon was his dream school. His best friends and team-mates Noah and Keyan were able to convince himto flip after Oregon changed coaches. He is the highest rated kid to ever commit to Arizona FB! Rated 46th nationally and is a five star in Rivals. Big time player! Offers anywhere and everywhere, I do not think any school in the country would have turned him down.

RB, Rayshon Luke from St. John Bosco HS in Bellflower CA. Rated 237th in the country and also has an impressive and long offer list. Was the MVP at the All-American Bowl just last week and you get a picture of what he can do from those highlights alone. Real threate for our O on every play.

Little George

One thing to remember is that getting a top three hundred player has been slim to none since the ratings have come out and yet we have four in this class and 3 more top 500,  and a total of 12 top 1000 players in the class. That is unheard of at Arizona for our FB program.

KansasCityCats

Thanks for the breakdown, LG.  This class is HUGE for our staff.  Despite Arizona's record over the past few seasons, there's plenty of reason for optimism.

Fifita can single-handedly turn this thing around!

soazbnb

Thanks LG for this and all the football recruiting work you do. I only just come here for football recruiting news.

I am super pumped for this class. I saw somewhere this is our best class since 1998 or something? Kudos to Jedd and the staff for putting this together. The teams with better talent almost always win in CFB.
