NC State went the IARP route 5/18/2020. Arizona's IARP process started on 12/17. Memphis, Kansas, & LSU are still ahead of UofA in the process. That's if they go by the dates these schools filed.

The ruling from the NCAA's Independent Accountability Resolution Process for the violations case related to Smith's recruitment is scheduled to be announced at 1 p.m.

That's the good news for NC State and fifth-year coach Kevin Keatts, even if it's bad news. A ruling, any ruling, is what he needs to have a chance to do his job to the best of his ability.

Keatts was hired in March 2017. He hasn't had that chance yet.

Even if NC State gets a postseason ban — and that feels like a probable outcome at this point — a ruling is what State needs from the IARP.

NC State avoids post season ban even after it was proven a player was paid. Could be a good sign for Arizona basketball.
