Volleyball Sweeps

I was fortunate enough to see the volleyball tram play in Lawrence this weekend. The KC Cats Alumni function on Friday night had a nice crowd.

KU built a brand new 2,200 capacity arena for their program. Beautiful site with a sold out crowd Friday night.

Fortunately, the Cats swept all 3 marched and won their 9 sets against the Jayhawks, Syracuse and Morehead State.

I was impressed with the players (both on and off the court). Very nice ladies that were truly appreciative of our presence at the tourney.

The team is adjusting to a new offensive scheme and I think they have a legit shot at a Final Four. The PAC-12 will be tough; hoping Rubio can make a run and take the Cata to our first National Championship!
