Absolutely.  This kid should be a priority.

Not only does he have a variety of ways to score, he dishes out creative assists...which is a huge asset.

The assists are nice too! Seems pretty skilled all around and with the 3 point line being moved out there will be more room for him to attack the basket and find guys cutting or on the wing.

Quick question for those willing to discuss, KCC mentioned his passing and playmaking ability, Eggdog mentioned his assists as well.
Would you be willing to bring him in play him at SF, or leave him at PF and try to pair him with another tall wing to try and exploit the SF/PF combo?

As long as we have two capable outside shooters, Ighodaro could be utilized as a SF in a big lineup.  Although he shouldn't be taking 3's with the deeper arc, he would create some serious matchup problems.

I'd love to see him in the game with B-Will, Baker, Brown and Lee.

Oh not at all!
I should have made it more clear, OI would not be shooter in any lineup regardless.

I personally would like to see Miller go bigger instead of smaller.
A lot of teams are using the "4 Out,1 In" offensive scheme, but we were very good when we had AG/BA/KT as our starting frontcourt.
6'9/6'9/7'0 was very difficult to matchup and rebound against.
We were still able to push in transition and run a half-court set.
That's not happening though, but it doesn't hurt to dream.

I think what's great about him is he fits the type of positionless basketball being played more and more and he could come in as a wing or power forward depending on what Miller wants to do. He could take a big man on the wing and blow by him or post up on a smaller guy. I do like the idea of a big line-up like you suggested, we'd get all the boards and he looks like a good playmaker for his size. Kind of like what I expected from Akot but he looks more comfortable handling the ball, of course he's playing against high school players and not college ones.

My friend coach's Oso at Desert Vista. Basically he can bring the ball in transition, guard 1-5, good passer, good IQ, not a great shooter yet.

Welcome and thanks for the info Mdub. He looks smooth in his highlights.

I would say we have a pretty chance with him  he may take an official visit after he took an unofficial  visit we will see.
