Also he will get more time to improve his game in the pros instead of in college. I don't think he cares about the money as much as getting to the nba unscathed. He already had a lingering injury in college. I think he's gone, but if he returns he will cement his legacy at Arizona and shed that final four beatdown that has to be killing him still.

Insurance covers injuries. If Koa were rolling along for Arizona next year and it looked like he was going Top 10 in a Weak Draft Class, he would be compensated for it.

Playing for a Good Team is good IMHO. Carter Bryant isn't really allowed to do much for the Spurs, but he is getting some run. He is better than they care to let him show. Playoff Money is Good Money.

Koa would be lucky to have an actual role though. Zeke Nnaji still has no Role, but he did get Paid a 2nd contract.

If the "feedback" is he cannot shoot the ball and he is too short to be a "PF", then those 2 factors will not change in returning to college.

1. He won't get taller.
2. Tommy won't let him shoot the ball. He only wants guys bulldozing to the rim.

So while I wish he would return for Any reason, someone needs to give me a true reason to believe he would outside of some sort of Biblical Miracle.

He can't stop it from happening.

The rumors of Koa's stock are all smoke screens.

Koa will go Top 18. Likely already has a handshake deal in place. Possibly even with OKC at 17. OKC is never bashful to stack and stash talent and let them develop. A true embarrassment of riches if they can somehow grab Burries at 12 and Koa at 17. I would rage quit the NBA. I do think Burries will go Top 5-7, but every year we see a Haliburton, Booker, Fox, SGA, Maxey, Deni, etc all slide to the 10-15 range.

This is getting comical.

Again, Biblical Miracle if Koa returns.

I agree, although I don't think "biblical miracle" is completely accurate, or Koa would have already committed to the draft.

If he somehow returns, he'd fill a huge void in the frontcourt, which currently has a few unknowns.

I don't know if another season will help his draft stock, unless he puts a serious emphasis on his outside shot (not necessarily in the games, but behind the scenes, so he can show improvement at next year's combine).
