NCAA is considering changing from 2 halves to 4 quarters

I enjoy the halves but men's college basketball is the ONLY league without quarters. HS, women's, pros, etc. Not a bad proposal.

It won't help how Tommy Coaches, but I would prefer 4 Quarters. Tommy would have to change his entire approach.

True, having one less timeout requires a completely new philosophy. Perhaps he should slow down the fun "Top-5 offense" and try to score 67 PPG with 5* talent, like previous coaches.

Four quarters would make me want to do that.

Completely unnecessary. If they're itching to make some changes, here's where they can start:

- 24 second Shot Clock
- No Alternating Possessions on Jump Ball
- No timeouts by the offensive team after scoring

100% on the alternating possessions.  that's ridiculous
