Endurance Aiyamenkhue 4🌟 6'11 C has committed to Arizona!!

The rich international pipeline under head coach Tommy Lloyd continues to pay off for Arizona Wildcats men's basketball, as Arizona landed a commitment today from 6-foot-11 Dutch forward Endurance Aiyamenkhue, one of the more intriguing overseas frontcourt prospects in the 2026 class. Originally from the Netherlands, the 220-pound big man has been developing in Germany with Orange Academy, the developmental system tied to Ratiopharm Ulm, and his combination of size, mobility, rebounding, and defensive instincts immediately gives Arizona another high-upside international piece to mold. Aiyamenkhue averaged 11.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game in Germany's ProB League while playing roughly 25 minutes per contest, showing the kind of physical interior presence Arizona has consistently valued under Lloyd.

Scouts and analysts have praised his rebounding motor, rim protection, help defense, and ability to play through contact, while his performances with the Dutch national youth teams have helped elevate his profile over the past few years. Arizona fans should be excited because Aiyamenkhue fits the exact mold of international bigs that have thrived in Tucson: skilled, tough, fundamentally sound, and still developing physically. With Arizona continuing to reload its roster through a blend of elite domestic recruits and overseas talent, Aiyamenkhue gives the Wildcats another versatile frontcourt piece who could eventually become a major contributor in the Big 12 and beyond.

Endurance, welcome to the family that is Arizona!
We are all glad to have you!

No, I do not believe this is the starting PF.
I believe this is the Gueye replacement as the PF/C off the bench.
What does that mean for Mabut is he gets another year to sit and develop without being rushed into action before he is ready.

Not as raw as Gueye but still needs some work. Great addition to a team that needs some frontcourt depth!

LeftCoastCats

Death, Taxes, and Tommy bringing in a Euro big.

Welcome to Arizona.
