The shooting numbers are a bit deceiving. He will be an actual 3 Pt threat with increased volume in a less boring system. He could very well be a Henri type Stretch 4 at Arizona.

I would assume he's looking to replace KP, not back up KP, so what KP chooses to do looms large. That being said, a 2nd year of KP is the best case scenario. Williams would be a very good next best scenario.

He'd be a perfect fit to back up Peat. If he wants to start, he needs to attempt less threes. Would be amazing to land a kid with his shot-blocking abilities. That will help drastically.

I would like arizona to land willams

Off the bench would be great, he clearly  needs strength an weight like his athleticism  an shot blocking.

Sidi Gueye is taller and heavier and if he were playing 24 mins a game in the American League he'd have better stats as well imo.

Williams averaged less than half a made 3 per game in the American league. If you think he'll average more than that in the big12 I think you may be deeply confused.

I don't get the hype.

Devin Williams shot 49 3s in Florida Atlantic's boring, low volume 3pt system.
More than Peat, Krivas and Awaka shot combined in my t. lloyd's exciting "system."

No he won't as Tommy doesn't allow anyone over 6'7" to take 3pt shots nor outside jumpers. Quick yank to the bench. Kid is a 6'10" 200lb stick-bug which I doubt he is truly 6'10" based on images I've looked at compared to NBA players that are actual 6'10" (in-shoes)

Koa Peat received bad feedback, but it doesn't mean he will bail on the draft.
