Khalil Sanogo 6'5 2026 OL has committed to Arizona!

Khalil Sanogo, a three-star offensive tackle from Mansfield Legacy High School in Texas, has committed to the University of Arizona, bolstering the Wildcats' 2026 recruiting class. The 6-foot-4, 295-pound lineman announced his decision on July 6, 2025, choosing Arizona over finalists UNLV, North Carolina, California, and Kansas State. Sanogo, a standout in Texas' competitive District 3-6A, earned second-team all-district honors as a junior in 2024, showcasing his ability to anchor the offensive line with his size, strength, and athleticism. His commitment adds depth to Arizona's offensive front, a critical piece for head coach Brent Brennan as he builds around foundational players like four-star quarterback Oscar Rios. Sanogo's physical attributes and versatility make him a promising addition, with recruiting profiles noting his potential to develop into a high-level college tackle.

Sanogo's decision comes as part of a pivotal recruiting weekend for Arizona, with the Wildcats trending for multiple prospects. His official visit to Tucson in June left a strong impression, as evidenced by his social media activity reposting Arizona recruiting content. "Thank god for everyone who has been there with me on this journey," Sanogo shared on X, reflecting on his commitment process. While specific high school stats remain limited, his Hudl highlights demonstrate dominant run-blocking and pass-protection skills, earning him praise as a "worthy" tackle prospect with impressive physical tools. Arizona's 2026 class, now with 16 commits, ranks 55th nationally per 247Sports, and Sanogo's addition signals Brennan's focus on building a robust offensive line to compete in the Big 12.

I agree. Can we retain these kind of guys that have been committing is my only question. Fisch had a similar start IMHO where many didn't trust the Grift. Brennan has to show us all something starting this season.
