This is not intended to down or throw shade at anyone on that IND rotation.
Carlisle needs to figure out how to get more minutes to both McConnell/Toppin.
I want to say Mathurin too, but his play has not been consistent enough to warrant pulling from Nembhard/Nesmith.

Those two consistently make plays by getting into the paint, getting buckets on offense; and getting deflections/steals on defense.
I know that means dipping into Haliburton's minutes or Siakam/Turner's minutes.
IND plays better with McConnell/Nembhard backcourt and Nesmith/Toppin/Turner on the floor.


One more thing, IND better be glad that they locked up McConnell until 2029 because they are about to lose Turner to free agency.
They are going to need to put a big next to him that can shoot/defend somewhere close to the level of Turner.
Brook Lopez would be a nice addition if they could not bring back Turner.

TJ is my favorite active UA guy in the NBA... and even though Reggie Miller, once upon a time, ruined any chance I could root for that franchise, back in the day, TJ and Bennedunk Meltherim are the reason I will root for that franchise until they are no longer there.
