Quote from: KansasCityCats on June 09, 2025, 09:24:35 PMThe fact is that I won't have the opportunity to enjoy college sports in the future. Aside from college football at major schools, this will inevitably be the end of softball, volleyball and other events that I've enjoyed as a spectator since attending Arizona 25 years ago.

You'll survive and all these sports will find other ways.

Did you miss the memo on all the NSWL teams bought up and the WNBA NY team valuation of 450 Million?

All of these sports can become privatized and you can choose who you want to watch. The best example of this is looking at Merchandise.

I ALWAYS cover up the "A" or "Arizona" on the merch and ask myself, "would I buy this or want this if it didn't have the Arizona Wildcats Insignia/Logo?" if the answer is yes, then I'll buy it. If the answer is "meh, this is just a dime a dozen without a little logo", then No.

Such is the way of the sword in life. If you truly love all the Athletics you do, then you will find a way to watch them and be the super-fan that you are.

I'll always watch my teams...assuming they don't do away with all college sports (besides major football/basketball).

I'd also abandon the Chiefs if they brought in a player from asu with a significant role. Pro sports will always be the secondary form of entertainment.
