Burries is at the 2 and Peat is at the 4. Awaka will start at the 5 if Krivas isn't ready or back up both 4 and 5. Peat will slide down to 3 at times but can't see him starting there.

From the small sample size of clips I have seen of Ivan, he looks like he needs to have the ball more than I think our team will allow as a starter. Not sure if Aristode is ready but could see him starting at the 3 if he can consistently defend and get to the open spot. Maybe later.

But Delly can provide consistent spot up shooting now. As long as he doesn't start the season like last year with him being lost and turning the ball over, which I think we are past in year 2, the 3 is what he returned for in my eyes. If he starts at the 2 over Burries, #^}**}*{*#!

I don't think Koa will get any minutes at the 3

Jdmarti

I think minutes at the 3 will come down to only, ivan, aristode, delly,
Also some of them will get backup minutes at the 2 when burries is on the bench, I do wish we would have brought in one experienced wing  out of the portal, but it sounds like the price was to high with so many players  asking for 3 or 4 million, is alot.

We we will need our freshman  to be really good right away, an hopefully  the returners can take there game up another level, jaden Bradley  was really good last year hopefully, he can take his game to another  level.

Aristode is a beast when he's at 100% and Ivan is a dark horse candidate to breakout, although I realistically think he'll play more as a sophomore.

I'm intrigued to see if Lloyd would consider Peat at SF in a big lineup, with Awaka and Krivas in the frontcourt.
I don't see Toby and Mo in the lineup together, much if at all. Is Krivas effective at all fromn outside 5 feet? I don't recall

KansasCityCats

Yes, Krivas has a nice little mid range game. I assume he's been working on his shot, while the leg is healing.

SloMo aka Kirk Walters Jr. is going to have to prove himself

If I had my way, and I don't, Aristode starts at the 3 and is backed up by Ivan. Delly backing up Burries seems workable and appropriate, with a few mins at 3 here and there.

This would be my rotation at the 2/3 as well.
I do not understand why Lloyd is so in like with Dell'Orso.
Yes, he is an elite shot-taker and when he is hot, a very good shot-maker.
He is a defensive liability and I would hunt him very possession if I were playing against Arizona.

I believe Burries/Aristode gives you the best advantage on both sides of the ball.
If nothing else, you should be at a net zero for both of them.
I believe you should be at a positive when you add what I believe Aristode is projected to be on the defensive end.

Dell Orso is a good player, but he is put in bad situations defensively very easily. Tommy has no real defensive strategies so we are at the mercy of teams using basic screens to get Delly matched up with a 6'9" 250lb PF any time they want. Offensively he can make things happen spot shooting or up and under layup drives.

I don't think we will be Phi Slamma Jamma this year, but if Tommy is at least a good coach, we may be able to play the fundamental way and move the ball enough to at least keep up in some games and when we play tougher defensive teams we will have to rely on the playmaking abilities of Bradley, maybe Burries - but mainly Koa Peat should be carrying this team much-like Derrick Williams in the past. We may have a Momo-Solomon-Derrick situation next season, but I doubt they will stick to it for us to see dividends more than this year.

I am not putting all my eggs in the Aristode basket until I see what he looks like vs real competition.

If Krivas goes King Kong mode then I guess anything is possible, but I don't see it in him.

A lot of my predictions is hoping Bradley/Krivas are able to take a small enough step that the freshmen would be able to make plays in situations they are comfortable in.
Bradley being the lead guard should (hopefully) allow Burries/Peat to play freely within the offense, and not feel pressured to make plays for others.
Krivas being able to monitor and/or control the paint should (hopefully) allow Aristode/Peat to get weak side blocks by being able to rotate off of their assignment.

You made an excellent point though.
It is safe to reserve the opinion until you see all of these freshmen play/produce during real competition.
