There is literally NOTHING out there suggesting Bradley doesn't return.  NOTHING.

KansasCityCats

Caleb Love was a huge ballhog.  It affected Bradley's opportunities to shoot but he still had enough attempts to display a reasonable shooting percentage...and he was just "off" this season.  Scouts will recognize that it was his only flaw last season and he won't get buried in the depth chart this season because he's the point guard, with Evan stepping in and filling in occasional minutes.

I'd love to see Jaden drafted as a Senior, especially if he becomes the leader of next year's talented team.

Literally nothing that suggests he MUST return either. I'm not shook by it. Clearly you are. Rent free.

I'm not shook by anything, merely responding to your excessively long rant about how he is apparently gone... when there is, in fact, nothing to suggest as much.

To be clear, the only reason I am in this thread is to increase my posts above 50 so I can get rid of the awful monkey puke green GifBox font color assigned to me presently.  A space I would note you are not allowed to be.

I like to poke these kinds of bears for fun.

You do realize there are other posts to comment on right? LOL

CBOX?????? I am literally in the CBOX seeing all the embarrassing crap that keeps tons of people away from this site with my suggestion of it not being on the direct landing page falling on deaf ears for now as it would be better to not "welcome" new people with the beefing you all do without me wasting my energy I bring to the table  there even though I could chime in time to time, I choose not to.

Go ahead and fact check it. Perhaps I'll come out of retirement when Arizona Basketball actually wins their next National Championship for a One Liner. Maybe sooner. Who knows. Could be 5 seconds after this post.....

I have no problem helping you get a color-up. That's sort of sad though, but I am here for Sports Talk and Debate.

I don't get into the scraps that you all do anymore in that CBOX by choice. I even help point out some Bugs with the site time to time. Contributing to the conversation in a productive way doesn't have to look like you want it to look. Many things can be true at the same time. So what?

I even sat and literally watched you all run Deb off the CBOX for what? A year? MUCH TO MY DISMAY as much as anyone could believe that or not... I was not happy seeing that.

Can't blame me for that nor Any group-think echo chamber teenage lunch room nonsense.

Proof is in the pudding. Nice to see Deb return after you all ran her off.

So taking pride in that area of the site is not a flex.

I can chat, but I decided a long time ago that If/When I post, I would rather post in the Forums and leave it up to whoever wants to read and engage. So the joke is on you if that is how you feel coming to me here.

Ha!  So who is in whose head now?  Rent free indeed.  FWIW, I was most certainly not a part of the group that ran off Deb.  In fact, we all know who the trolls are that engage in that silliness.  Meanwhile, I just like making fun of the trolls.

I tend not to agree with this statement here.
With the departure of Love/Bryant, Arizona is not going to have an on-ball shot-taker this season that is established.

Bradley could run the entire show next season with two true freshmen and your big coming back off an injury.
The offense should be more balanced.
Bradley should have more opportunities to create for himself and others off the dribble.
His defense is going to get him on the floor in the NBA.
If he is able to show he can play with future NBA prospects (Aristode/Burries/Krivas/Peat), it could be a big boost for his NBA Draft stock.

I don't necessarily disagree, but something feels off about your opinion to me. I realize that people think of Bradley as the On-Ball Floor General pending his return, but I do wonder how long before Burries influence is too strong.

I am going to come back to this at some point.

Unlike the other pretender who is simply wasting their own time and energy on the forums worrying about the trivial status of a color above utilizing any semblance of real life, nor sports intelligence, you have succeeded in creating a talking point.

My initial theory here on your comment would be to say that I don't think that Tommy is going to greenlight Bradley the way he did Caleb Love and guys like Boswell etc.

I am not seeing apples to apples here.

Tommy has already wasted an opportunity with Carter Bryant. I don't think he can afford to repeat the colossal mistakes of last year.

To support that theory, I really haven't seen Bradley to be a true Point Guard, Floor General, nor any sort of running the show type of guy under Tommy Lloyd in Tommy's system.

The only information I have on Bradley showing he can "lead" would be when I've witnessed Bradley enter what I coined "Maniac Mode". When times were tough and Bradley had enough of the team concept which was Tommy greenlighting countless bricked 3pt shots from 1 guy, and just took the ball to the rim over and over, getting layups or getting to the line. Heroically mind you. I enjoy that version of Bradley personally.

I think he has a willingness to know his role, be useful when needed, plays hard defensively, has a nice 3pt shot and excellent handles. Erratic at times. Mainly out of frustration from my POV.

Sometimes it can bother people to have to be out there with a team fighting with your tough nosed spirit, but the game plan is centered around a different volume shooter. This is part of the reason that there are NBA teams interested in him. Turnovers would be key if he actually did return. As you stated, the only "established" veteran presence at what perhaps you are saying would be at the "1" position [and heavy minutes].

Tony Delly is also established for the record.
Evan Nelly is established in his own right too.

This is not necessarily a fully young team. Tommy has a lot to consider when he decides how to play all the guys on the team with or without Bradley as opposed to the last few seasons he just asked 1 guy to chuck up 7 to 9 Three Point Shots per game and backfilled the bricks with Moonball Lobs. Whether or not Bradley stays or goes, Tommy has to have more X's and O's this year. Can't just rely on 1 guy chucking.

I personally believe Bradley to be a combo guard. Undersized to play SG in the NBA, but sized appropriately to go head to head with the Payton Pritchards, McConnells types of the NBA and tough enough to absorb the contact of some starting PGs too. 6th Man type stuff. Every team is looking for a 6th man in that mold. A steady hand if needed, who can knock down shots off the ball and handle a role of holding the line during periods of rest for Starters.

As of today I see about 25 players 100% committed to the draft, then about 30 International Players listed, but mostly 2nd round speculative talent or undrafted stash fodder, and finally around 15-20 players that are still testing the waters including Bradley. Perhaps the 1st round is spoken for and obviously there are deadlines.

There probably won't be more than 15 Foreign players taken in the draft unless it is toward the way end. 60 Picks or so. The math speaks to Bradley getting a chance. Especially with guys like Darrion Williams opting out and transferring to NC State.

This can all be yesterday's news as soon as I post it, but until a hard commitment to return is stated, it is getting to be a numbers game overall. The more that drop out vs the more that stay in. Usually an indicator that a deal has been made regardless of getting drafted. Pelle and Keshad Johnson are both on the Heat with guaranteed money now.

Which leads to another point...

The 2026 Draft Class is going to be chalk full of heavy hitters. More than this year. Bradley would be competing with his own teammates to be drafted. That must be something to consider too. It could be his only chance to get out and into the Pros. Just food for thought.

Hope he comes back, but the numbers game... we will see if Gus Fring aka Mr. Humberto can sweeten the pot and get Bradley to come back.

arxpert

I add that Jaden Bradley has a Full Revenue Sharing Contract with Arizona Basketball for this upcoming season upon his official withdrawal. Good luck to him. 2026 is a Heavy Hitter draft and he will be competing with at least 3 or 4 players on his own team to be drafted. Time will tell if he made the right decision, but for now, selfishly, I will say that Tommy can only fuck this up now. This is an assembly of talent that should easily go to the Elite 8 and beyond and it would have had nothing to do with Carter Bryant as Koa Peat is going to make Bryant look very pedestrian.

There is no in between.

Paradigm back in order.

If I am reading this right, I see where the miscommunication error happened.
What I was trying to say was not that Bradley is a true, pure PG.
Lloyd has allowed his team to have more freedom on the offensive side of the ball.
I believe Bradley would be able to showcase more of a true PG skill set by attacking the middle of the paint like he normally does, BUT this season he would have more options to kick out to with Burries/Peat/Krivas able to knock down a shot.

I agree that Bradley is not a true, pure PG.
I do not agree that he is a combo guard though.
I believe he uses his IQ to make the simple play off of the whatever the defense is showing.
He catches it off the swing pass, dribbles opposite of the defensive rotation (usually to the middle), and uses that 1-2 dribble pull-up jumper.
If Bradley is able to avg 4-5 asts/game, I believe that would boost his draft stock a lot more than what he did last season.
