If the redshirt wasn't a big deal, one might assume
they wouldn't have redshirted him in the first place.

Is reaching the Elite 8 an over-achievement in t. lloyd's basketball "culture?"

What kind of comment is that?

I mean, he is a basketball player...

"I hope he embraces the idea of trying to get on the court"

That is what I read... Makes no sense to me. Tommy will do what Tommy does.

We have trouble getting our best talent into the game consistently as it is right now. There is realistically nothing E-Man can do to get himself on the court short of taking out the Knees of Henri and Carter.

It's just how Tommy is.

Henri got 19min last night and got off 11 shots.
Carter got 16min last night and only was afforded 4 shots.

And that game was basically a blow out. A "Tommy 2024-2025 Blowout". The one where we are up basically 20pts and we find ourselves some how only up 8-10pts and the opponent has the ball with like 5min to go.

One of these days it will catch up to Tommy.

It is almost certainly the script of March Madness. Once the tide turns it is VERY difficult to get the momentum back. We have been lucky so far. Especially Baylor playing 6 guys and mostly in foul trouble so they couldn't even try to protect the rim because any time they did the refs tagged them with a foul.

I like Baylor a lot. They have no depth and still play a good brand of ball.

For the record, Baylor did hang over 50 points on us in the 2nd half. We are just lucky that their whole roster was basically at 4 fouls and they couldn't make any point of emphasis to stop up from coming down hill to the rim.

Tommy needs to be all over this team for allowing over 50 after only allowing 19 in the 1st half.

Unacceptable behavior and complacency.

Why are you quoting me? I never said that lol.

Elite 8 isn't much of an achievement. Making it to each respective weekend is a big deal. Sweet 16 is great. Final 4 is amazing. National Title is rare air.

Since when does winning by 8-10 against a top-25 program become a negative?  Regardless of style points, 7 consecutive wins is an accomplishment, especially from a fanbase that didn't anticipate a .500 record in conference play.
