A Wildcat player's parent has reached out to BDU asking...

They've asked us to stop with the constant boob and just flat out gross gifs in the chat.

As you may or may not know lots of players and young kids still in school are on BDU. We have to tone things down a lot and get back to talking about Arizona Wildcat sports.

Actually there are big problems with those things in the shout box!

One of many reasons Deb does not come around.

The crap gets old and is certainly offensive to some. The issue is it has become a nonstop crap show.

Some people cry about the politics in the shout box. So we quit that. Now we need to clean up the site a little. WILD asked that several times because there are kids and family on the site.

That's the reason I haven't been in the chat box much either, I noticed a couple weeks ago that there was constant boob gifs, and not any wildcat Athletics conversations. That needed to be said @WILD!! Let's clean it up gentleman. I don't like to hear Deb doesn't come around  because because of this reason. 😔

Amen, Werder. It's one of the reasons I stay away from the chat box, tbh. I'll go ahead and out myself (as a gay man) and underscore just how demoralizing it is to see some of what's said in there. I get that intentions are mostly harmless and comments are made in jest to elicit a laugh, but it shouldn't be that difficult to rely on other tactics.
