I missed it by three, but CC only missed it by ONE. Good try CC!

31-7

30-24 Arizona. Only because we are at home. I think this might be the one time all season I actually think we can win a game and it has nothing to do with the Wash St win nor taking USC to the limit. Oregon St would trounce us if this were in their stadium. We are going to win a good game this weekend stopping DJ OogieBoogie on the final drive with an INT.

I was a FG away from nailing it. Almost to the T. So I will just say, "it's like I know what I'm talking about". That's gotta sting...

Must have been the TO drive before the end of the half that should have netted us another FG?

I can't believe that OSU was sloppy enough to attempt a fake FG before time expired in the half. A 12 year old playing Madden could manage the clock better than that...

I was also surprised by this. Not the action, but the timing of it.

I think Oregon St got a little too cocky there. It wasn't even that they felt they would beat us in the 2nd half. More just bad play calling. I can see how we may have been "sleeping" on it, but in a road game @ homecoming, I think you take the points there 9 out of 10 times. If not, then try something that is a little more feasible like a fake FG with a throw involved. Running for it required absolute selling out on the FG block with no consideration to even think about leaving a man back to make sure.

Jedd could have opted for a FG a couple junctures, but chose to continue driving the ball to drain clock and limit possessions. It worked out. I still think if it were in Corvallis it would not have went out way at all. Noah probably would have made a couple key mistakes.

In the beginning of the season I felt like this was a 2 win team. Jayden De Loser was the driving force. He and Jedd are not a good fit for each other. Playcaller to Playmaker wise, it does not work.

Noah and Jedd have a much more reasonable dynamic for executing the type of offense Jedd wants. I can't say I was wrong preseason because I only went off of the information in front of me. I didn't expect Fisch to have a backbone to commit to Noah fully. Now that he did, in retrospect, it wouldn't have been so difficult to see 4 or 5 wins from this team had Noah been playing to his expectations.

So I like the position we are in currently. We may limp a bowl game. I still think a win vs Colorado is going to end up being the most important victory we can achieve this season. Not the most impactful overall for Pac12 ramifications, but just in the sense of going forward not letting Coach Prime and the clowns for clicks hooligans over there thinking we are a cupcake for them going into the Big12.

Establish a backbone now I say.

Onto UCLA ---> I don't expect to win it, but I would appreciate staying tough on defense at minimum for consistency purposes.
